Cracker Barrel

Ate there most recently for Thanksgiving, but been there plenty of times before as it's one of my grandmother's preferred place. The food is alright to good depending on what you get. They're pretty good at frying things and breakfast items, but some of the other menu stuff is lacking. I was pretty impressed with the Thanksgiving offering, good portion size and it came with the drinks and a slice of pie. Course the reason a lot of people like Cracker Barrel is the atmosphere, and this is no exception. You have all the old timey posters and other decor, as well as the little shop full of candy and sodas that are hard to find these days. If you've never had Cracker Barrel, it's a bit of an experience, and if you have, this location is a pretty good one.

We are regulars at the Cracker Barrel near our home in Vista Lakes. We went to dinner on 12/13/23 and were very surprised at the mediocre service we received from our server. It borderline on bad. We actually received our food and had no silverware and had to wait for almost 10 minutes before we were given utensils to eat. We usually have no complaints on the service, most of the time is excellent and the servers go above and beyond. I would have understand the wait if the restaurant was packed but it was a slow night. We love the food and atmosphere so this won’t stopped us from returning, but we will definitely ask to be seated at a different station if we see this server again.

My husband and i ordered our favorites, Mama's pancake breakfast and the breakfast egg sandwich. the restaurant allows us to replace the sourdough bread with whole wheat.I love the hashbrown casserole and ordered a side of it to take home to our granddaughter since she loves it too. The portions are just right. The bacon was perfectly crisped, and the coffee complements the meal.

This is our new hangouts, my huspend, 2 of our children and myself. We keep being drawn to this place because of the great customer service. And the food is really good too. So whenever we go up to Orlando to visit my daughter. We stop here it used to be all. You can eat Chinese buffet but nothing beats breakfast any time a day or night. Great customer service Wins us over every time. It's hard to find good Customer service and food.. It's hard to find good customer service anywhere, let alone great. Keep up the great work. Cracker Barrel will be back.

Cathy, our waitress, was so sweet. Our food was delicious. Wasn't sure about eating here cause I've had bad experiences with our Cracker Barrel back home. Really glad we stopped cause it was really good. The lady at check out was so bubbly and sweet. We did wait for about an hour before we got our meal. But, the time just flew by for some reason. Maybe because of the atmosphere. It was overall a pleasant experience.
