Review Black Angus Steakhouse - Orlando

Visiting the United States without trying their steak is a miss, so I went for the infamous Tomahawk out of curiosity. The meat was incredibly tender and sized just right for two. The waitress provided exceptional service, being both very kind and attentive. Without a doubt, I plan on returning here in the future.

Nice place... Great food... Try the bacon wrapped filet... You won't be disappointed... Wife had the Surf and Turf special with shrimp cocktail appetizer, salad with ranch dressing and filet & lobster tail with a baked potato for $49... She was in her happy place!!! I had the bacon wrapped filet... Delicious ... A salad with ranch... The double pork chop (only ate one) with loaded garlic mashed potato and finished with a large slice of Key Lime Pie (sorry no picture because I ate it too fast). Over a 5 star experience...

I've passed by the $15 steak and seafood sign so many times and glad I finally stopped in. They have several early bird options to choose from and & I chose the pork chops & fresh garden blend veggies. For a lunch special the portions are huge. The food is delicious and the beer is cold. All lunch options come with soup or salad and desert. Can't beat the price. If you've never stopped in I'd recommend swinging by especially for lunch. The food came out quick so I had time to enjoy it and get back to my day on schedule.

Great time here overall. We came and were seated immediately. They had the heat game playing, which made my husband happy. We had fresh bread brought out before I food with honey butter, and it was really good. I ordered mozzarella sticks to start, and they had some serious pull! My kids had tenders and fries and hotdogs with fries. Their food was good. I had the Mrs. Angus, which is chicken breast with bacon, mushroom, and cheese. I felt like the combo was a bit salty, but the chicken by itself was good. I had a side of vegetables with it, and the vegetables were my least favorite because I felt like they were not steamed long enough and didn't have much flavor. My husband got the ribs, and it was really big. That was okay. Nothing to brag about. My meal came with a side of salad, and that was okay too. The service was good and the drinks were good. Overall, I would recommend.

First time eating at the restaurant and it was delicious. We were celebrating Father’s Day weekend. The best food in the menu was Lemon Chicken and the ribs! Our server Bryan was the best, very attentive and friendly.

Absolutely amazing! The food was perfect 🔥 service - beyond and above! THE Best meat I've ever eaten. That's my Favorite steakhouse in Orlando for sure.

I have been looking forward to eating at the Black Angus Restaurant since our last trip to Orlando. It was definitely worth the wait. All three of us got the super early bird special, which was two filet mignon wrapped in bacon cooked to order, grilled or fried shrimp, a house salad, loaded baked potato,and desert. OMG!!!!... DELICIOUS is just not enough.melt In your mouth scrumptious, maybe??? I will be back because it is that good!!! The service was excellent, and Jennifer was so professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and a joy to be around. We had a wonderful experience and can't wait to come back for the bestest steak ever!!!

Nice place, good variety on the menu. Our server John was very attentive. The Early Bird is a good value, with generous servings and as a surprise we were offered dessert 🍰🍰🍰

I made the mistake to order lobster since ny stomach was not in the mood for stake. Lobster came out a bit undercooked, ask the waiter to send it back. The waiter brought a brand new plate with everything on it, but.... first lobster I try was EXTREMELY salty, now I asked myself was this intentional? Who knows but you heard the rumors about returning food and my brother is a chef. Net time I visit, I will get a nice Tomahawk Stake instead lesson learned.

On our last night in Orlando, we decided to try Black Angus Steakhouse on International Drive near the Universal Resort. The decor lends itself more to "family restaurant" than steakhouse. It was clean and spacious. We asked to be seated outside, but just before ordering, the wind picked up and we felt rain, so they quickly relocated us to a booth inside when we asked. I ordered the Mr. Angus which is two pieces of thin cut filet mignon topped with peppers, onions, mushrooms and cheese. The beef was not as tender as I had expected, which had me questioning whether, in fact, it was filet mignon. But since fm is such a lean cut, and it was cooked to "well," I put my question aside. It was quite tasty and I enjoyed it. Our waitress Jennifer recommended the day's special which my daughter ordered. It was a 10 oz. ribeye steak with grilled or fried shrimp for @$26. My daughter enjoyed all of it. When my daughter ordered the Malibu daiquiri in the souvenir cup, Jennifer asked if we wanted the light-up cups for the kids' drinks. Of course! One of my grandsons ordered the pepperoni pizza from the kid's menu. It looked freshly handmade and was quite a good size. The younger boy ordered the kid's steak, which proved to be much more than his 7-year-old tummy could hold. I'm not a big bread eater, but their warm rolls were so tempting I ate two of them and had to stop myself in order to leave room for my meal. They DO need to order honey butter because the dish we were given of butter with honey poured over it is not a good look. The service was great. From the moment we walked in, they were pleasant and accommodating. Jennifer was prompt with requests and patient with us, particularly the boys. I WOULD RECOMMEND this place. (I'm sorry about the quality of the photos. They were screenshot from a Marco Polo video my daughter did after we'd begun eating.) UPDATE: It's 15 months later, we're back in Orlando and visited Black Angus again at the same location. The food and service were still good. This time I remembered to take photos BEFORE we started eating.

If you are in Orlando, definitely check out Black Angus Steak and Grill. Joey are server was phenomenal. His chrisma and passion of the food being served made the experience even better. The appetizers, salad and bread were amazing. My 2 teenage sons were full by the time the main course arrived. More than worth the price!

NY Strip cooked perfectly to order. A tad dry, and moderate on flavor. Rolls with actual honey & butter was a nice touch. Salad was very crisp and fresh, and steamed vegetables were delicious. Reasonably priced for quality of food. Atmosphere okay. Server (Jennifer R.) was exceptional. I’d come back.

Good food, a little bit expensive, attention excellent

Bread and honey w butter is amazing. Server Jennifer is fantastic. Very attentive and never let my drink get dry. Ribeye is good. Prime rib is good. Salads are awesome.

We were absolutely impressed with everything here! We had an amazing server, but I can't remember his name now. The food was phenomenal! We ordered 2 steaks, 1 burger, and a kids spaghetti. The flavor of everything was amazing and how the steak would melt in your mouth. This was an expensive meal but well worth it and we tipped our server very well for his service. Everything was amazing! This was one of the best restaurants we ate at and will DEFINITELY be back when we visit Orlando again! I will be telling everyone about this place! Ten stars!

This place was really good. Service and food both were awesome!!!

We were vacationing, from Michigan, and decided to try a different place for dinner. We didn’t mind the 1/2 hour wait for a table, as it was spring break. Our sever was not very friendly or helpful. He was not efficient and we had to flag him down for refills. He never came back and asked if our meal was good or if we needed anything else. He did not smile or make eye contact. Our salads came out on warm plates and the lettuce was wilted— GROSS!!! The food was acceptable but it was not the best meal we have ever had and it was quite expensive ( for 6 of us). The kicker, at the end, was that our server’s tip was automatically added on to our bill! It was a very expensive meal for mediocre food and terrible service. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone!!

This place is Awesome. The steak was delicious. The Honey Butter and Bread was so good. Prices are outstanding. The staff was very polite and extremely professional. John the Bartender is on point. We will definitely be back next time we are in town. Two thumbs up. We will never waste our money on big shot Orlando Restaurants again. We highly recommend this Steakhouse

It started out great. We were seated straight away, our drinks order was taken and all seemed good. By the time our food arrived service/drink refills became none existant. Had to ask for them, even after having to ask for drinks they still didnt arrive so asked a different waitress who brought them over right away. Not once were we asked was our meals ok or did we need anything else. I thought the food quality was fine however i thought $12 for a pint of bud light just because it came with a standard souveniour glass was expensive, and $7 for a refill was expensive too. Our hotel only charges $5. My wifes malibu was $10.50 which i thought was expensive too. One of my kids had a small strawb milkshake at $6. There is 6 of us and we are averaging around $100 per evening meal however our bill at Black Angus came in at $165. As i say the food couldnt be faulted but we have ate and drank just as good elswhere for much less. Due to service received and price sadly i wouldnt return. Our reduced tip reflected the service we received.

We were here on our yearly December visit, the place was fresh and clean, the waitstaff was excellent . Dinner was fast and tasty! Great job all around. Marisol our server did a special preparation request for my wife for some seafood, that was very nice of her and the kitchen staff. Thanks for a nice dinner guys, much appreciated, see ya next December!,,

Black Angus Steakhouse is an awesome experience. The steaks were fantastic the garlic mashed potatoes was awesome and a salad best I've ever tasted. I highly recommend this Steakhouse

We came in because it was located directly across from our hotel in Orlando. We were so pleased we came back the next day as well! The first night our server, Ron, did an outstanding job and the food was excellent, warm and prepared exactly to our specifications. The next day, we returned for the prime rib and were equally as impressed. Our server, Yenezka, was funny, attentive and very friendly. We took the time to share our thoughts with management, as great food, wonderful service and incredible value are hard to find these days. All three stand out at Black Angus Steakhouse!

Spaghetti and meatballs were disgusting spaghetti was hard under cooked. My Porterhouse steak I asked well done was med well. I was not a very happy person. Our waitress was amazing that’s why they got the 3 stars not for the food.

We always make sure we come to the Black Angus when we visit Florida. We've always received great service and fantastic steaks cooked perfectly. We visited on a Sunday with a party of 8 and they were quick to accommodate. We had a lovely meal catching up with family who live in Texas and by coincidence were visiting Orlando at the same time as us from the UK! Will definitely keep returning.
