Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar - Orlando

Wow this place is amazing I loved it and food was good too not traditional Cuban flavors but with a slight twist nevertheless it was good but overpriced. What stood out the most was the theming and service it was beyond fantastic, our server was Vanessa who also covered the bar she was 10/10. This place was beautiful truly brought pride to my Cuban heritage.

Atmosphere was great! Aesthetically eye catching ! The service was great Stephen was our waiter and he was phenomenal. The food was absolutely great. All our food was at a perfect temperature taste and portion! Definitely recommend to any local or tourist looking for a Latin vibe ! Will be coming again! Yuca bites are delicious!

Posting review late, we visited here on September 16, 2023 First time here and it definitely lived up to the hype. Very colorful atmosphere, the inside is amazing! I absolutely loved the decor and the "feel" of the restaurant! Our server was awesome! Since it was our first time there, she helped recommend some very good dishes! We had 4 people in our group so we ordered a few dishes that came with multiple options so we could try a little bit of all the good stuff! Apologies for not remembering the names of the food dishes we ordered, but highly recommended all of the ones pictured! Highly recommend making reservations, especially if you're planning on eating on the weekends. At 10pm, the restaurant below turns into a dance club. Great atmosphere but I wasn't impressed by the music. The DJ started off with some good songs, but then it turned into the usual main stream clubby music that you can get anywhere, so it was a bit disappointing. I'd visit here again, but only for the food and atmosphere, not for the late night club scene.

I took my wife here for date night and we were extremely impressed with the food flavor and quality, the very impressive service and of course, the amazing atmosphere that resembles the courtyard and house from the movie Encanto. The music was pleasant and drinks fairly priced, but what we couldn't get enough of was the food. Best Cuban food we've ever had and we've had quite a bit.

This location "Cuba libre." has really impressed me! This was my first time visiting this location. The service was absolutely immaculate, from the hostess to the management team, they all did their best, to make sure all of the customers were satisfied. The live music from "Stella beats." Was very authentic and you could get a good Cuban feel. It's located in a beautiful plaza, which is a great place to relax l, right before the restaurant turns into a night club ☺️ the manager Mike and our server Vanessa (The names may be off. 😂) they did one hell of a job,. keeping us happy. So do your self a favor and pay them a visit.

Food was awesome here. We had the fish and the pork. The Cuban flan presentation was pretty good but the flan itself was a little hard. Flavor was good tho. The atmosphere was great. Felt like being in Havana except at 10pm when the dance music started. Took my wife for her bday and no one acknowledged it even tho I put it in the reservation notes. :/. A little disappointed in that. Overall, a good experience.. but not a great one as expected in a place of this ‘caliber’.

Okay while I do rate everything 5 stars (because the restaurant deserves it), I must say it can get quite haphazard and chaotic especially on weekends. But hey, overall it’s so great - music, food, service that you tend to overlook the goof ups (people bumping into your table, wrong orders, incomplete orders)…seriously and I’m not being sarcastic. It was busy so these things happened but we didn’t seem to mind at all because we noticed a genuine shortage of staff and everything was so great otherwise. Yes I’d go back, but with earlier reservations. The club downstairs requires ID, especially if you look under 21 (clearly I’m flattered), plays great music and has a fun vibe. I visit every time I’m in Orlando, also since we usually have conventions at the Hyatt or Orange County Convention Centre on International Drive and Cuba Libre is conveniently located at the Pointe right on International Drive Try what the server recommends based on your preferences- they know their stuff. The Margaritas are fine. Also loved the sharing platters - for more variety Do not skip or surpass The Cuban bread that they serve complimentary - it is delicious with mango butter

Good restaurant with a beautiful Cuban decor and atmosphere. Service was great and the food has a great presentation and taste. Portions are not large so if you like to share a plate this is not the place to do that. At 10p the music gets louder and the place becomes more of a night club. Unfortunately the quality of the speakers is poor. But if you like the “boom-boom” and you don’t know much about quality sound, you may be ok to party the night away. Two things to keep in mind that are not very customer-friendly: 1) you need a credit card to reserve a table for dinner and if you don’t show they will charge you $20 per person and 2) they charge an additional 3% to your dinner check, just because they can. Overall it was a good experience, but could be better.
