I know a lot of people come here for just ice cream, but the food is also fantastic. Just know that if you get food, you aren’t gonna be able to finish that Kitchen Sink sundae. It’s huge! They say it serves for, but for me, I would say it serves six. Regardless, every dessert has quite an ample portion size.
Go for the ice cream, but not the food!! There are much better food choices in Disney, especially for the price. The burger was terrible and was sent back. The grilled cheese was nothing special. The Rueben was good though, as were the loaded tator tots. It’s a fun atmosphere when they serve the “kitchen sink” to a table…. But very small, crammed space.
Really simple food but made to perfection. Something as simple as a grilled cheese was absolutely delicious. The whole meal was loaded with flavor. The vibe of the restaurant is very old school beachy diner vibe. We really came here to try the famous “kitchen sink” - this was an undertaking. There was so much whip cream and toppings it was difficult to find the ice cream.
A great first food stop on our Disney trip. Obviously the ice cream was amazing, but the food also was very good and the kids meal is surprisingly a great value. We will be back!
To cap off the trip we went to this place, and this might have been one of the best visits we made. To make a reservation at this place was one of the toughest, mostly because there is a small amount of seating. This place is more known for their desserts than dinner options, but that’s not to say they don’t have any good entrées here, because they do. I ordered the French Dip sandwich with a side of tots, and for the price, you get a decent portion. It tasted very good as well. The main star of this experience was the dessert however—and I ordered the chocolate brownie shake. This was pure happiness, a huge shake with a hunk of brownie on top, and all in a souvenir cup. Our waiter was excellent, I always appreciate my waiter more when they enjoy their job. While we didn’t order the Kitchen Sink, it is so fun to see when other people order it because they announce it to the whole restaurant: siren, dimmed lights and all. An awesome experience that ended an amazing trip. Hopefully I will be back one day!
Really loved it. Great food. I had a French dip. It was one of the best I have ever er had. The bun was toasted perfectly. The steak was savory and tender and the au just was flavorful and hot. I also loved the tater tots. Can't wait to come back and try the ice cream.
We couldn't get a reservation, but we're able to get two different walk-up seats. The small sundaes were enough for two to three people depending. The other food was also awesome. The chili cheese tots are the best I have ever had.
Great theme and experience! We went for dinner, mainly to try the Mini kitchen sink. We also purchased the Mickey version to match. The sweets were delicious and the Cast Members made the experience unique and a lot of fun. We were also very delighted with the hot food... not bad at all.
Beaches & Cream is a great little "soda shop" located at Disney World inside the Yacht Club and Beach Club resorts. It hardens back to nostalgic soda shops of yore with nice little touches, including a working juke box and wait staff in striped shirts and bow ties. Our server was on top of her game and very attentive and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was kind of generous but typically overpriced when you are stuck on property (read $20 for a cheeseburger minus the side). But really, you should go here for the desserts! They are knock your socks off wonderful and actually compared to meal pricing, not that bad. The kiddos had ginormous shakes with a huge brownie or an actual piece of pumpkin pie nestled of top. The missus and I shared the "No Way Jose," which was no joke... a mix of peanut butter, hot fudge whipped cream, and generous helpings of vanilla and chocolate ice cream....ooo wee was that good! So, go for dessert or, better yet, skip the reservation and order to go at the window!

To start with, by the way I am 46 and had never been to Disney World, we decided to use the valet services. Never done it before and I’m a disabled veteran. The cast members were very nice, very accommodating, very helpful! The Beach Club was absolutely amazing, I’m not an engineer or anything like that. You could tell a lot of thought and planning went into the design, very beautiful inside, really loved the architecture. We were so amazed, especially at how the inside was set up, from the location of the front desk all the way through to outside. The Cape May cafe was beautiful. Oh I almost forgot there is this scent that puts your mind at ease with almost like you’re actually at the beach, when you enter, it’s so calming. We got outside and checked in for our reservation and the cast member that greeted us at check in was a very nice, sweet woman who had an above and beyond great attitude and so helpful. We got inside and the staff was super friendly. The meal, mine I decided on one of several different burger choices with onion rings, with Raspberry tea, my wife had the GF chili cheese tots with ranch on top. Tried a bite of hers and it was fantastic, my burger and onion rings were phenomenal. The staff(cast members) were so nice and accommodating to my wife’s allergy. Through the whole experience arrival to leaving was just beyond what I expected! I didn’t know really what to expect, had watched multiple videos about Disney spots, talked with my wife who pretty much has been going to Disney World her whole life. I found it to be beyond any expectations I had. We are definitely going to go again. And before I forget, we had ordered a sundae that just blew my mind with the taste.
