My husband and I went here for his birthday and the food was better than expected. We had the Chicken & Dumplings for our appetizer and Soco Steak (Elk) and the Fresh Catch (White Tile Fish) for our entree. It was our first time trying Elk and Tile fish. It was delicious! The atmosphere was intimate and perfect for the occasion.
Nice gem of a restaurant in downtown Orlando. I made a reservation to host a small group. We were immediately seated for our reservation time. I love promptness! Our waiter was doing double duty as a bartender and waiter. Chase, the waiter, needs to be applauded for his attentiveness and vivid breakdown of the different items on the menu. He’s truly a gifted salesperson! The ambience was very warm and welcoming. I absolutely loved our entrees and wanted more of everything. The only thing I would recommend, if they gave a little more or the servings. Be generous lol!
I love the food from here! It’s locally sourced, and you can tell it’s fresh. The menu changes with what’s in season and available. The dumplings were absolutely delicious and so were the biscuits!! Quality dishes are served here. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Orlando.
You can tell all this food is made from scratch daily. Everything was so good!! I especially loved the Mac and cheese and the unique twist on a homemade biscuit with everything bagel seasoning.

Been coming to Soco for the last 7 years! I l love their ambiance and always have a fabulous experience & service! Their Avocado toast are my favorite & of course bottomless mimosa! Only a fabulous time, I highly recommend this place ☺️
Excellent southern selection! Fun brunch at the bar! Food was fresh, delicious and fast!! Drinks were amazing and staff was fun! Definitely a cool brunch experience.
I love Soco! It’s a great place to get southern inspired dishes made with fresh ingredients. Their dishes are unique and you can tell that the chefs who put them together have an incredible palette. The amazing food is matched with amazing service. I highly recommend NOT skipping dessert here. The bourbon banana pudding and chocolate buttermilk cake are out of this world.
I had a great time at Soco, I was there for business with a big party of 16, and they have a separate room for large groups, everyone agreed that food was really good I had the Stake and it was delicious, also recommend the crispy cauliflower, kudos to the chef.
Service was grate too, and they had a wide variety of wines.

Eight years since my last Soco meal and truthfully it was better than ever! Chef Greg Richie has kept every detail elevated and his creativity is unsurpassed. The Bacon Egg and Cheese Shrimp and Grits were balanced perfectly and the best I've ever had. My wife had the Lobster, tomato and Burrata and it was so light, fresh and full of flavor. Eight years ago as part of his creative baking vision he was serving deconstructed moon pies and today it was homemade blueberry pop tarts! An experience to remember.
As a southerner I was attracted to the menu and it surprised by the twists on execution of the dishes. The pimento cheese on chicharrones opened of the meal and a creamy, salty, crunchy punch. The chicken and dumplings was a total surprise with the asian twist but the flavors were amazing. Fresh biscuits and homemade butter and jam is a winner winner with chicken dinner which was juicy and crispy. My wife has a pork chop which was packed with flavor and perfect bites between the broccolini and grits. The portions sent us home with seconds.
