We went tonight and had a great meal. I saw a lot of reviews that complain that the service was slow. That was not at all our experience. Our lo mein noodles came out within minutes of ordering them and they were piping hot. The rest of the meal came quickly after. Toward the end of the meal the chef came out and gave my kids suckers and favor thrilled. The waitress was really clined and very helpful as well.

I highly recommend the Mongolian beef, Orange Chicken, and walnut shrimp. These entres had such a full flavor! The orange chicken is some of the best I’ve ever had—I only wish that it had a slightly crunchier bread layer. The Mongolian beef has a beautiful smokey flavor. The vegetables are crisped to perfection. The only dish I didn’t care for was their fried rice—it just tasted really average compared to their outstanding other entres. The service and ambiance is so-so, which is why I only gave 4 stars instead of 5. I fully expect to give this place a solid 5 stars in the future as they improve.

Huge portions! Great Chinese food! We ordered the Orange Chicken and The Chicken Stir Fry Noodles. It came with a side of rice (not sure if that comes with all orders or not). we didn’t even finish half the food. We ordered for pickup at 5:30pm on a Monday night (4/22/19), and it said it would be done in 30 min from the time we ordered. I showed up 10 min early and it was already done. Kind staff. Would definitely go here again!

Really yummy food with a large variety of options. My husband got the Szechuan noodles and loved it. I got garlic eggplant and it was delicious! The best part is the portion size. We could easily get another two meals out of it. For what the restraint is I'd give it 5 stars considering the portion size, the price and it's really yummy too.

Here is what to expect. When you walk in the chef will sit you at as table and hand you a menu. The prices of about $11 to $13 a plate may suprise you but the portions are generous and the food is good. Unless you walk in with a large appetite you'll walk out with left overs. The veggies are crisp and taste fresh even when fried. I personally enjoy anything he serves with lamb. The floors could stand to be better vacuumed but the tables are always clean. The chef is polite and tries to anticipate your needs. I recommend trying it yourself if you are on the fence.

Seriously good, authentic Chinese food. A friendly chef from China makes food that varies from American-Chinese (orange chicken, walnut shrimp) to very authentic dishes you can't find anywhere else in the valley. Try the spicy fish soup. Seriously, it's amazing!

It is very authentic as you can see a lot of Chinese there anytime of the day. Their spicy dishes are fantastic, just like the ones I have tried in China before. And the service from the waiter/waitress are Chinese style as well, so be prepared that they will just take your order, give you drinks and food and not return back unless you call them. It is great place for real Chinese food!

My favorite Chinese food, especially in the Orem/Provo area. The food is delicious and they give you A LOT of it. I never leave without leftovers. Pricing is phenomenal. It is a steal for the quality and amount that they give you. Their service isn’t great, they take your order, bring it out to you, and might come back to refill, but the food more than makes up for it.

I've been here on several occasions for lunch and dinner service, I've also ordered out for pickup / delivery and these were my thoughts. Pros: - Great price point for quality of food / service - Excellent Chinese menu (last two pages of menu) - Good balance on the menu of safe / out-of-the-box items - Low wait times - Clean tables, floors and bathrooms Cons: - Certain items on the menu unavailable for unknown reasons - Limited soda menu - Parking can be tricky

Very good, authentic Chinese dishes that have expanded my palette and taken me to new realms of flavor and texture! Great for individual dishes or family-style. This ain’t no Panda Express so if you want high fructose orange chicken... but if you want spicy fragrant ribs (not your own ribs—to eat!), boiled fish and savory salt and pepper chicken then start here. Once you’ve tried those, keep reading the menu and then try something from the back page that is legit cooking. I aspire to explore their entire offering of foods and flavors, one by one.

Every delicious bite! We ordered four dishes. The table was already set up for "family style" dining. I have to say I enjoyed every dish we ordered. We all agreed we could add this place to our go-to list. (My fav was those sauteed green beans!)

Chef Gao's offers a more traditional Chinese menu. They still have the good old orange chicken and beef and broccoli, but they also offer clay pot, lamb, and other similar dishes. The restaurant was dark lit and cold but he food was tasty. If your looking for basic Americanized Chinese take out, save money and eat elsewhere. If you want a to be brave and try some less traditional items, this is definitely the place.

Best Chinese food in the area. A little pricier, but worth it.

First time eating here. The wait wasn't bad for a sit down restaurant. The staff follows the Asian custom of not interupting you; so you need to signal to them if you need drinks refilled or more rice. They were very polite, if not friendly (another cultural difference). The egg drop was great. Not as salty as other more Americanized places, and I really enjoyed being able to taste the vegetables. The was a lot of tofu, but I just think of it as diced egg whites. The kids enjoyed it too. Orange chicken was pretty good. Not as spicy as Panda Express (unless you eat the peppers) Chicken stir fry noodles was as good as anywhere else I've had. (Think Lo Mein) Sesame chicken was the kids absolute favorite. It's a honey sauce with lots of sesame seeds.

DELICIOUS! It was my first visit, I ordered takeout! The whole experience was great. Fast, clean, friendly service. Great price, delicious food! I am a vegan so it was AWESOME that they had options for me (yes, that's plural)! I will be coming back and with friends!

Everything was delicious!! One of the best meals I've had in a long time. I normally don't really like Chinese food, but place may change that. Plus, the price was very reasonable, the staff super cool and friendly and the atmosphere is good--clean, spacious, well-lit. I will return and definitely recommend.
