Quick pro tip: get the Horchata! It’s phenomenal. Be prepared also for huge portions.
I have been here a few times and can recommend it as a great Mexican food place! Every time I have come here for dinner, no matter the time, there is always a wait, which means this place is in high demand!
Food is good, not quite great. Huge portion sizes, but I think the seasoning particularly for the meat is a little weak, and not quite similar to other Mexican places I have been.
I haven’t always received the best service here. The last time I dined in, my father in law got a little back talk when he was clarifying his dish when they brought it out. He had ordered the same taco plate as someone else in our party, but with different meat. The waitress thought they were the same, and insisted as much when he asked, but the plates were definitely different. That being said, for the most part I have received great service.
All in all, this place is worth a try! I’ll likely come back soon.

Better experience than expected from a strip mall restaurant. Recommended by a coworker, my wife and I visited at 5:30 on a Friday evening. The place was packed. We were seated within 3 minutes of arriving. Once seated, a large bowl of chips and accompanying salsa arrived, while we looked at the large menu.
My wife ordered a diet Coke, that was brought out in a large glass mug with lime wedge and a maraschino cherry (nice touch). I had the enchiladas Acapulco and my wife had the beef chimichangas. The portions are large. Very large. The food came out quickly, 10 minutes, and was deliscious. The quick table service is the reason we found a seat on the busy Friday night.
The interior was decorated for a Mexican Christmas, complete with several Santa's. The restaurant appears to be family operated. The unique leather chairs are very comfortable too. We will be back.

I had an amazing experience at Maria Bonita Mexican Restaurant! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The decorations and ambiance were delightful, creating the perfect atmosphere for an authentic Mexican dining experience. The food was simply wonderful, and I especially enjoyed the complimentary salsa and chips. While the chairs and tables were a bit close together, it didn't significantly detract from my overall enjoyment. I can't wait to return for more of their awesome authentic Mexican cuisine.

On a whim we stopped by this place after driving by it. We looked at At the reviews and they were stellar. The wait time was about a half an hour. The staff was kind and efficient. The portion sizes indeed are huge. My wife and I ordered a carne asada burrito and a non alcoholic pina colada. The Pina colada was truly fantastic. It came in the pineapple and we could barely finish it. The carne asada burrito from a presentation standpoint was fantastic. There was something about the meat that was not fantastic. We got a lot of gristle. All of the rest of the plate was very good.

We have lived in Utah county now for two years and have struggled to find good restaurants. This one is. Amazing, wonderful, and some of the best food around. The only downside. Is the place is too small. They would be busy if they tripled or quadrupled their restaurant. Good is out of this world. Owner. Was there and treats you like her family. We ate one of. The combo meals, my wife and I, could not. Finish it, totally enjoyed it. I am fairly sure any plate is wonderful. I strongly suggest they build a large restaurant in the new Traverse Mountain area, they would be busy all the time. Highly recommended.

Only come here if you expect a lot of food. We had so much to take home. It was delicious! The tables are a little tight. The mango colada is awesome!

This is now one of my favorite places. Staff is friendly, efficient, and customer facing.
You need to order the drinks. They are huge. Nonalcoholic as well.
The plates are substantial. The food is high quality. They don't skimp on the meat.
Order the guacamole. It's outstanding.
The plate.i ordered included a beef taco, beef tostada, an enchilada, and a chili Verde burrito.
I was able to eat.the taco and a few bites of the tostada. Yummy leftovers for the week.

Good Mexican food. Be prepared for pretty monstrous portion sizes though! Chips and salsa are great! The food is pretty good, service is quick and friendly. Only complaint is that it is in a very tight space and can feel a little cramped when it’s busy, which is almost always.

This place is awesome! The atmosphere is incredible, tons of cool paintings and authentic Mexican decor. And the food is amazing. I always get the shrimp flautas but I know there’s lots of other delicious dishes. Their specialty drinks are also amazing. The presentation of them is awesome and they taste incredible. If you like Mexican food, you gotta go here!
