China One Buffet

I haven't been there for a while but I seem to recall it being better last time. They had more of a selection of food then this time I visited. The gentleman up front was very friendly. He had a big smile and was personable with everyone who came in. But my waitress wasn't very friendly. She did the minimum to just bring me my drink and didn't seem overjoyed to do that. You can get full there but I'm from West Toledo and it was not worth the drive to go over there.

We went there often before Covid. Went again a few months ago and was disappointed. New owners have taken over. Went again today and was very disappointed. The bill was $32. Plus change for 2 buffets. It was never that high before. My goodness I could have gotten prime rib at Oregon Inn for that. Wong tong soup not good at all. The broth was orange. Shrimp with tails was rubbery. Broccoli salad was very good. Fresh green beans very good. Something I have never seen on a buffet is all the salad dressings were in their original bottles on ice by the salad instead of in individual serving bowls.

We used to eat here all the time before covid. We got take out today and the food was horrible. I got almond chicken because they no longer have what I normally get. The chicken was so chewy it was like rubber and tasted burnt.There was no rice. The noodles that came with the egg drop soup were totally difrent than before and weren't very good. We spent to much money but I couldn't eat it and had to throw it away.
