The Oregon Inn

Tried this place for 1st from a friends recommendation. Let me just get this out if the way now. It's worth coming here just for the cake, O MY is all I have to say. Onto the food, I was very flavorful. The appetizer spinach and artichoke and the bread was savory. The grilled chicken with mushrooms and onions and peppers was cooked perfectly. The house salad was a little bit better than most places. Fried chicken sandwich was crispy and moist. The only downful was the cost. Seemed very pricey for what you got. The waitress was very attentive. The restaurant was clean.

Okay , let me first say I love this place and will probably to return , this review is based on my last visit . I called and ordered take out and picked it up 5:30 on Tuesday 11/2/21 . No issues whatsoever with my food and order , except my crabmeat and crackers appetizer. I normally would have got the artichoke dip but the crab dip ( states crab meat, cream cheese , seasonings etc for $10.99) sounded good to try . I look and it is actually chunks of imitation crab in a watery sauce . Had they not mislead by the menu posting saying crab meat , should say imitation crab or Krab meat are common listings as not to mislead the public . I tried contacting them directly to address this false advertisement, to no response , but I few people should not be mislead as I was for $10.99 for a scoop of fake crab .

We love this place because they have great food and they are awesome for serving parties up to 20 people. With the proper reservations the cuts of meat that you want will always be ready and always be delicious. Most of the servers have been there for quite some time and are all cordial and very easy to tip. Hope you give it a try, an experience you will not regret!
