Nice place to grab some fresh made pizza! Crust was wonderful and the toppings were on point. Not what we were expecting when looking for a 'dine-in' restaurant but glad we stopped by! The place was nice and very clean! Service was good. I would note that this is more of a bar style restaurant so seat yourself. There is also take out is available. Also had the Caesar and Italian salad. Good salads. Drinks will cost you more than expected. I rarely look at drink prices for soda as most places are in the ballpark of each other, but Pioneer is a little more pricey for just a soda. The pizza is a little high but with the value. Worth going to again but we would order water or a single soda to share next time.
Michelle is the absolute best bartender around. She is quick to recognize you upon your entrance, sometimes before you even enter if you happen to be a regular! She is very observant to all her surroundings and so connected to the clients and community. It’s a true rarity to find a server so attentive to your needs . The food is equally good and you’d be hard to find a better selection with as good service. Give them a try and you can’t be disappointed as it’s a gem in the rough. Michelle is again the best and the quick efficient service you can’t beat. If you’re not sure what to order go for the calzone. You won’t be disappointed.
While working in the area I stopped in for lunch. You can get a whole pizza or by the slice. The pizza is loaded with toppings and really good. I wish they were closer to where I live!
We were very early in picking up our food and they pushed our order out quickly. The price was very reasonable for the portion size. My partner and I shared the chicken Alfredo and spaghetti and meatballs. It was really delicious and tasted homemade
We had large family group, restaurant was already pretty busy service was excellent server/bartender was very courteous and apologetic as we waited for a table that would seat all of us, food came out very quick and it was delicious!!!
Pioneer pizza had some descent subs and salads. The wait wasn't long either, which is great for a quick stop in lunch.
Definitely would eat there more if I were needing a fast food stop rather than a dine in restaurant.
Have had this pizza before at a party and it was good. We called fI t takeout on the way back from the beach (40 min out), and was surprised the it was not ready yet when we got there? Pizza was very good though. They do take and bake as well.
The staff are all very nice and prompt. I drive 30 miles round trip to have the opportunity to eat the best pizza anywhere around!
Awesome food and friendly service. Thier pizza is so delicious. I have had their chicken Alfredo and spaghetti in the past. Thier Antipasto salad is good too. Always fresh and hot. They never disappoint. Thanks so much!
The nostalgic pizza joint my family and I were longing for. Red plastic cups, great beer, plump hot wings, an incredibly fresh house salad, and the side by side pizza was the fresh, hot, just greasy enough pizza of my dreams.
