Octavia's Bistro - Orcas - Photo album

We decided to do Thanksgiving a little differently this year by eating out. The food at Orcas Hotel Cafe was delicious! Hands down one of the best Thanksgiving feasts of my life.
Surprisingly tasty food! The service was fast and efficient. We had the chicken quesadilla, clam chowder, grilled cheese and fish and chips. Everything tasted good! The tomato soup with the grilled cheese was slightly undercooked and garlicky. But other than that, everything was good.
Great lil place for your first or last stop on the island. We stopped about an hour before having to get our ferry and and plenty of time to enjoy our meal and the view one last time. The breakfast sandwich was amazing, and the staff are very friendly and quick.
I was fully prepared to hate the coffee- glad I tried it again. New owners = new coffee. The beignets were hot and tasty. We love sitting on the rocking chairs watching the boats come it and out.
We stopped for lunch after arriving on the noon ferry. There was ample parking. We elected for 2 clam chowders and shared an order of fish and chips. The chowder was unique but was very good. No complaints about the dish either. Total price was $60 which was steep but average for island meals. A gre
Orcas Island is a beautiful, relaxing place to recharge, but if you're looking for a place to have dinner during the week, you won't have a lot of choices. Most of the restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but many of them are only open for 4 days. I happened to Google for places to eat at
Casual dinner dining, seated right away on Monday evening. Cool carnivorous plants in cafe!
Greath location for when you have a ferry to catch. The view is also very stunning. The food was aslos good and the avocado toast looked delicious. I would like to come back and actually stay at the historic hotel for a weekend or longer. For me as a Canadian I was surprised when they said they had
My girlfriend and I stopped here for lunch after taking the ferry over from Amacortes, and after eating there I'm surprised to read some of the negative reviews. The service was great, food came out hot. I had the breakfast burrito and she had the avocado toast. We thought the food was really really
Two hours of waiting for fairy, so I went to this little cafe off the parking lot to waste sometimes. The coffee was outstanding and my avocados toast couldn’t be more perfect taste. Stop by support them when you are in the area. Would come here again.
Just grabbed a coffee this time, but was surprised by how affordable their menu was for a casual dinner! (Especially given few other places are open for dinner at all, let alone 8pm). A great stop while you’re waiting for the ferry, with lots of baked goods / dessert options too
We had lunch here before boarding the ferry, ordered Fish & Chips and Grilled Cheese. Both were very good and I would recommend for a tasty meal. They have some cool outdoor seating, but it's not enough for everyone. With health restrictions in place right now there is no indoor dining.
Great food, great service! Enjoy a nice view of the ferries coming into port with some music to match the atmosphere. •on-site parking •12-15 seats max •no bathroom
Just Exceptional! Truly a fantastic experience - beautiful surroundings, exceptional service, and amazing food. We did the set menu and every course was unique and outstanding. I also understand the Sushi night is not to be missed. The location overlooks the water just off the Ferry Landing - of
Wow, a grill cheese and tomato soup combo, the soup came from a bloody-mary recipe but no alcohol... yum. Walk up from the ferry dock and get a FABULOUS view, inside or out. Fun helpful staff, but they keep moving so be patient. Great menu.
Great Cafe food with quality ingredients, serve at the right temperature and cooked exactly as you requested. Chef John has a changing menu that can be ordered online for pickup each day, every day. The food is fresh, it comes super well packed and if you have any specific requirements, they are ve
Waiting for the ferry can be tedious... we all know that. So stop in here for delicious fresh margaritas and gin tonics... and the best burger! Add an Anaheim chili. You won't regret it.
First visit to the rock. My family stopped in here before our departure ferry. We had a complex group of elderly with canes and a toddler. I didn't know if we would be a burden eating here, but the staff was welcoming and put me at ease. The breakfast burritos with avocado were BY FAR the best brea
What a great place to wait for the ferry! The food was wonderful, the service very personable, and the view was fantastic. Now if I can get their playlist, I'll be in heaven. :)
