Puerto Vallarta

I normally don’t take time to write bad reviews because everyone makes mistakes. But I was at Puerto with 5 friends.. the next day, all 6 of us were sick. I went back a few days later (at the time, we didn’t know that we had all gotten sick at once.. I originally blamed it on other things). Our order was messed up but as I said, everyone makes mistakes. Our waitress gave us a bag and said that what was in it was “on the house” as an apology for the service… when I got in the car and opened the bag, it was filled with moldy desserts. I went back in and they were mortified. Exchanged it for NOT moldy desserts… but who knows what the rest of their food looks like or why we got sick in the first place.

Best Mexican food with ground meat. Loved the fresh salsa and chips. We were impressed with the tables side homemade guacamole! DELICIOUS!! We can't wait to try something new next time. I felt very comfortable eating here because everything is so clean. They have dividers up separating the booths and hand sanitizer at every table. Keep up the great job!

STICKER SHOCK ALERT!!! Let me fairly describe this. I have dined here on two prior occasions and was very pleased with the food and the service. I was pleased with the food and service on this 3rd visit today as well. My concern and the 1 star rating came when the check arrived. I was charged 22.50 for a medium-sized, weak margarita!! The concern here is that the prices are not listed on the menu (pictured) and I did order it with the assumption that it might be @12-15 dollars or so. So - I was shocked to see the bill. But - it is my responsibility for not asking prior so I paid it readily. The management, however, needs to post their prices or have staff alert the customer. They are probably not likely to do that as it would decrease their revenue. I just find this to be a very sketchy practice. I am just writing here to possibly save others from the shock. The food is good here as is the service - just be aware of this issue with the drink prices.
