I had tuna sandwich. It was really good on fresh baguette. Food is served by very kind and friendly staff. Seating area is nice and no rush... I would definitely recommend New York Subs.
Every time we go we get something different. Haven't had a sandwich we didn't love yet! Awesome place!!! And super nice!!
The best sandwich I have ever had! The bread is fresh and has the perfect amount of crunch. The meat and veggies are proportioned well for the size of the sandwich.
Hidden gem. No frills great tasting subs. Bread is nicely warm and not dried out or have a palate cutting crust. If you want fancy sandwiches but basic taste go to WW or JJ. If you want a great New York style sub?, Forgetaboutit
As of September 9th 2023 New York subs is closed, from what I've heard the whole building's lease was up and the property got sold. To the owners,mom n son duo, thank you for the years of great sandwiches excellent service.
Got an xl pastrami. It was delicious and exactly the right size for my wife and I to split for lunch. Friendly staff too!
The bread is amazing here, thus so are all of their sandwiches. It's a little slow, but the small staff who work there have been their for ages and are super sweet. They are also really flexible about letting you create your own sandwich. I love supporting these guys. 100% recommend.
This spot is an OC gem! Prices are fantastic compared to subway and jersey Mike's and the food is DELICIOUS. Fresh flakey bread. And they make it with time and love. I've seen the same two workers there since I was a little girl (I'm 31 now). A gentleman and either his mother or grandmother run this little hole in the wall spot and are VERY humble and kind people. PLEASE come support this small OC family business. You will not be disappointed. I suggest their version of the Italian sandwich with peppercinis added🤌🏻 perfection. Their salads are amazing as well and youll pay maybe $8 to enjoy a delicious salad made your way. Thank you to the owners for providing such a great place to eat. I hope this business never closes because it is THE BEST sandwich spot.

Really good subs! Came down to OC for my sister’s graduation and we got this after everyone finished all their sandwiches not one piece left. Would definitely recommend!
