El Pico De Gallo

I cannot see how this place is 4 stars. I place my order. The sweet tea is good. It is not busy at all. The server brings me my food then she is gone. The table behind me kept shaking their glasses letting someone knows their cups were empty. NOTHING. I needed more napkins and would have also liked a refill. NOTHING. I would have liked some more salsa since the food has little flavor. NOTHING. The server is no where to be found. We are shaking our cups and slurping our drinks to let anyone know we needed refills. NOTHING. The table behind me goes to pay. The only other table besides me and the table behind me go to pay. I get up to go pay because clearly I'm not getting a refill and the food was so bland. The two ladies pay the amount. No tip. Exact amount. I get up to pay. 12.08 for this trash. I pay the exact amount because why would I leave a tip. I am walking out and this..I WANT TO CALL HER SO MANY VULGAR NAMES... lady tells the bus boy. OUT LOUD.. For me to hear I guess... SEE ANOTHER NO TIP.. WHAT'S WRONG WITH PEOPLE... BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIHHHHHHHHH... what the FUUUUUUUUU...... Is wrong with you. You did not check on anyone of your customers. You took our orders brought our food and that's it.. I could not believe the audacity of that woman to say that...OUT LOUD.. I am not a confrontational type of person but she almost brought out the bad side of me. Oh and again the food I ordered was darn near tasteless. The smallest damn sides of beans and rice... And look at the size of the chimichanga.. for 12 bucks... Never be back

I really hate leaving bad reviews and I am very surprised that this place has received so many good ones. I am from California, so I know what real Mexican food should taste like. And this is NOT it. I am very upset that I just wasted $40 of my hard earned money on a meal that I couldn’t even enjoy. I ordered the 2 taco, 1 enchilada, 1 tamale combination, with a side of queso. The queso was too thick and salty, the chips had a burnt after taste, the taco was hard shell and made with ground beef, as was the enchilada. And the tamale (which typically would be my favorite) had a nasty after taste as well. I couldn’t eat more than one bite of it. Very disappointed. I wish there was at least one positive thing I could say, but there isn’t. This place was just not good. I wish I could get my money back :(
