Really good chicken and sausage gumbo! Brisket is good as well as the ham or turkey swiss. Friendly service. Clean. Only reason I did 4 instead of 5 stars is ventilation it was just a tad smoky inside. Very easy to get to off I-49 - if you are passing through and looking for a local joint this would be one to put at the top of the list.

Such a great experience! Our server Alyssa was so friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! We had the fried catfish dinner with fried catfish, mashed potatoes, green beans and a dinner roll and the fried chicken cordon bleu sandwich with fries. I've never had fried catfish nearly this good EVER and the fried chicken cordon bleu sandwich was jam packed with so much flavor! We also had the St. Charles white chocolate latte which was also super amazing!! The atmosphere of this fine establishment was very relaxing and reminded us of New Orleans so much. We only wish that we could give more than five stars! Will be returning soon! Also the little mason jars for the drink glasses were so adorable!!! Thanks for the great food and wonderful experience!

Stopped in to eat at a cute looking establishment , however after sitting patiently for 5 to 10 minutes NOT being addressed by any of the 4 waitresses that were serving tables. During this time 3 other couples came in were greeted and given menus The waitresses walked within 5 ft of us and never addressed us once . If you are a visitor to the area DO NOT STOP if they don’t know you you’re not welcome . Drove 20 miles to Eunice nicer people .

Been here a number of times and never had a real issue until today. To say the service was slow would be inaccurate - to say the service is non-existent pretty much hits the nail on the head. Check out the other reviews on here, which confirms the same. We walked in and the restaurant was about a third full. We were directed to find our own table (should have been a clue right there) so we sat at the second table in the front between two other tables with customers. And that was it for service. Over the next 10 minutes, two different waitresses passed us without saying a word and waited on the other tables. No good morning, no menu, no offer of water, not even a “kiss my @ss” (although their behavior signified this). We kept looking over at them behind the counter hoping to catch their attention but they were more interested in chit-chatting with each other than what we wanted, which was basic service and some common courtesy. We ended up going to McDonald’s.

Fantastic food! Absolutely love their Boudin, Egg and Cheese Biscuit they serve for breakfast; the BEST! So fresh and delicious! Get that with a cup of their delicious coffee and you will have a DELICIOUS breakfast to remember!! And the kind owners, especially the handsome young man, are always so friendly and appreciative of the business!!
