Huddle House

The food was ordered and brought. The pancakes were extremely dry, the "over easy eggs" when cut into the uncooked white of the egg ran all iver the plate. My husband asked for non cruspy bacon, bacon was beyond crispy. I asked for my hasbrowns to be crispy and as usual on one side was crispy and swimming in a pool of grease. The little short waitress with clown make-up had a severe attitude. Horrible experience, we won't be going back.

The personal were nice. Had no issues in that area. The food (breakfast 2 adults, 1 child's meal) was extremely expensive. $40. inc tip. I had just water with my meal. 2 soft drinks with other. Never really got to look at ticket. We had to asked for it. Waitress had it at counter register. Just rang it up. Wouldn't have been so surprised if it had been exceptionally good, but it wasn't! Edible at most. I realize with so many customers it's hard to keep everything clean. But I felt terribly dirty sitting in booths. The upholstery was really disgustingly dirty. Flies were everywhere!! I can definitely say I won't return.

Decided to stop by and eat the other day because it had been forever since we had eaten at a huddle house. I have to say that this was the poorest service that I have ever received at a restaurant. The waitress wrote down our order on her pad and still had to come back and ask us three different times what we ordered. We waited for over 30 minutes for the food while we were the only customers in the restaurant. When they finally brought the food to us, we were missing half of our food. We ordered an appetizer and requested to get it before the main meal because my daughter was hungry. Not only did they totally forget about the appetizer but they also forgot about my daughters waffle. I had to give my daughter my fries (which were cold) to snack on until they finally brought out her hard burnt waffle. I’m guessing it was hard to focus on cooking our food correctly while they were standing in their little group talking about how much they hated the manager or perhaps part of their brain got lost in a crack pipe. Overall, our trip to huddle house for the first time in over a year was terrible and to think I had to pay almost $50 for food that wasn’t even worth it.

Friends treated us to a meal- breakfast for two dinner for two. One ordered the Southwestern bowl and the special hot sauce on top was waaay hotter than what he expected. They offered to remake the dish a couple of times.He poured a few spoonfuls of grits on top and was satisfied with it.Super nice people! Breakfast is their best for sure!

Half the time I order carryout, I end up waiting for the order; this instance, I arrived at the appointed time and my order had not even been started. I was told it would be an additional 15-20 minutes before it was ready. One order was a patty melt and I watched as the grill operator repeatedly pressed on the hamburger patties, until they were dry; the cheese was not melted. She forgot the pickles and complained when I asked for them. The sides for the two orders were swapped. I average a visit once per week, the order is the same and this was, by far, the worst experience I've had. You've lost a customer, Huddle House.
