We came to this Outback with a party of 11 in early January 2021. We had never been to this particular Outback before, but have been regular Outback customers at other locations for many years. I called a few days ahead and talked with Kelly, a manager. I made some special requests, and she was super accommodating and was willing to take care of all of them, which included ordering a soup and an appetizer that aren't even on the menu anymore. We met Kelly while we there, and she was really nice to us. She made our day, and we had driven almost 3 hours to get there. Way to go Kelly and the Outback!

My server Isabel is excellent . She Complimented on my dinner choice. Made me feel great. First bite of my prime rib, she checked if it was to my liking. Thats how a pro operates.
The quality, temperature, cleanliness was amazing. I highly recommend this place. Then the manager checked on me. This is a great restaurant.

Maybe it was our fault for ordering take out on New Year's eve - but the experience on NYE at the Onalaska location was a systemic failure on many levels.
First of all, the online ordering system continued to give a time of 25 minutes for orders to be ready... when in reality it was going to be much longer than the time stated (well over an hour).
Second, when it became apparent that there was a significant backlog at the location, why would additional take out orders continue to be accepted online?
Third, I understand front line employees sometimes don't have all of the answers... but get someone involved that can provide some answers/updates. A teenager shrugging shoulders and saying "I don't know" when you have a long line of people/cars waiting for takeout isn't an acceptable answer.
We were finally told around 7:50pm that online ordering was supposedly shut off around 6:30pm so they could catch up. Out of boredom while waiting, I checked the website around 8pm and was still able to place an order online that would be ready in "25 minutes".
When we finally did get our order, the food was good and relatively fresh. It just took significantly longer than we were anticipating.

The staff is always great, anticipated our every request. My steak....was awesome. Made me regret getting an appetizer because everything was so good, I filled up too fast. I always walk away wondering why I don't go there more often.
