Shandy's Swedish Bakery

I started buying Shandy’s “Double Banana Bread” at farmers market….I was absolutely blown away, how good her bread is! The Amish claim they know how to bake! They don’t even come CLOSE! I just visited her bakery today and bought of course “Banana Bread “ also brought home a bag of “Chocolate Krinkle” cookies! The BEST chocolate cookie I’ve EVER ate! Every baked good I try turns out to be the BESTEST EVER! Thank you Shandy!

I went to Shandy's for the first time yesterday and now I will never buy cookies from anywhere else! When I tell you these are the most delicious cookies I've ever had, they are amazing. The lemon Sugar, out of this world. Really they all are. Their Almond cake, also delish and the pumpkin pie bread, incredible!! Everything is *chef's kiss* ! So happy I found it. It was so good I even had to call them to compliment them lol! Trust me just go here, you will be beyond happy you did!!

Had an event with my co-workers who were having a soup and chili cook off. Ordered some delicious cinnamon rolls to go with the dishes and they were such a hit, not a single one left over. Everyone enjoyed and Shandy's was awesome with having them ready and fresh for pickup. Thanks so much for making today great!

Place smelled wonderful upon entering. They were busy with the Thanksiving rush, but we still managed to get some pumpkin and apple snickerdoodle bread. They also got us some caramel pecan rolls that were fresh outta the oven. They seemed very nice in this stressful time of year so we'll have to return for some more holiday goodies.

Moist and delicious! Owner is friendly and inviting. These mini bundt cakes had just come out of their kitchen. Superior moistness. Chocolate-dipped top and strawberry-glaze top cakes have hint of almond. German-chocolate & all mini bundt cakes are the perfect size for "just-right' indulgence. Lemon- A wonderful find is the Lemon Poppy seed cake! The lemon hits your tastebuds first followed by the sweetness of the cake- best lemon poppy flavor I have ever had!! Owner also has other Swedish specialties. Support local owners and in this case, support deliciousness for you and those you share with!

Just passing through Omaha and took a short detour to this fun bakery. The cinnamon rolls are heavenly. Just like mom made. Almond cake is such a treat. Rye bread better than I have had in years. And of course cookies. That first bite brings back memories of baking with my Grandma Lela. Definitely worth it!

I went looking for some of my traditional Swedish foods for Christmas and found Sandy's... What a treat! The rye bread was amazing and so was the almond cake that I was wanting. I will keep coming back for the other delicious goodies as well. If you like Swedish baked goods, you need to try this place!
