Our experience at the Golden Coral was overall a good one. The food was not amazing, but it wasn't bland either. I highly recommend trying a tiny serving of everything. During this visit the pot roast and meatloaf ended up being my favorites! Our children, who don't have much experience with buffets were almost starstruck being able to pick their own foods. Our section's server was extremely nice and joked around with the kids making us parents happy. We will go again.

Holy cow!!! We intentionally ate there for Thanksgiving for ease of the holiday. We and about 2000 other people had the same idea. Food selection was great. Servers totally overwhelmed "no doubt", but all in all, had a great experience.

Amazing selection of food! Service was friendly and did a great job of checking in on us. The bathrooms definitely need to be remodeled though. Leaky toilets and sinks that don't look great either. 😐

Omaha 72nd St, best GC ever; service excellent Thanksgiving 2023, good food, desserts awesome, fried chicken great; soft serve was too soft; veggies good; brussel sprouts excellent; bathrooms were fine (one sink out of order); upbeat manager patrolled the restaurant, greeted us (party of 2).

Went there on Thanksgiving day and they were very busy They still got us in pretty quickly. Staff was amazing and was working their butts off. As always their food was great! Very impressed they still had plenty of fresh food at 5 pm.

After choking down something that looked like it used to be eggs and about half a gallon of orange juice, I found the bread pudding. I literally stayed for 4 hours so that I could get hungry again and eat two more. They kicked me out and I ended up in the hospital later, but 10/10 would do again.

We went around 7:30 pm, they close at 9 and they were already running out of some stuff. What we did have was good. I love their salad bar.

The food was what you'd expect from a Midwest buffet (that isn't a Chinese buffet). Decent selection but many things were out and never refilled during our visit. The staff, when talking directly to you, were very nice. When they were not, however, they were yelling at other employees in the dining area or openly complaining (loudly) about the business. Working in retail, I have some understanding, but it isn't what customers want to hear.

Is the food amazing? No - but your coming to a buffet. You come for quantity and not quality. They have salad / vegetables / fruit/ and plenty of food choices.
I have a monthly meeting with other administrators and we have a nice room to meet inside of.
We have been coming for a few years and will continue to meet here.

I know they might be short staffed sometimes. The food area should always be wiped down. And empty food containers refilled with food promptly for customer’s. And the ice cream machine too. We don’t want a virus coming back from uncleanliness.
