I never passed up a chance to grab some baby back ribs whenever I could. Whether I ate there or took home, the atmosphere is not the focus here. It's the food, and they have focused PERFECTLY! The baby backs are my personal favorite, but everything they do is done right. The meat melts in your mouth. The sauces are incredible (beware of the really hot one). In my opinion it’s the best BBQ in the land. I moved to Texas a year ago, and, though Texas claims to have the best BBQ, there is nothing here that touches Big Horn BBQ! I'll see you guys when I return!
Best BBQ I have had in Omaha so far. I went for lunch and ordered the beef brisket sandwich. At $6.99 with one side dish, it is a pretty good sized sandwich for the money. Brisket was tender and juicy, cole slaw was a little too dry for my taste and the baked beans were just plain ordinary beans. The hot sauce was tasty without being too hot. The main drawback for me was the wimpy bun. If you are selling a BBQ sandwich, put it on bread that doesn't turn to much when it gets BBQ sauce on it!
Brisket melt is to die for!!! Super friendly,and attentive staff!!! KUDOS on the sauces...especially "super hot"!!!
Good brisqet sandwich and cold beer. Didn't care for coleslaw or premade potato salad
