Review Winchell's Donut House - Omaha

First time experience here was amazing! Quality service all around. I wish I lived closer. My boyfriend and I stopped by to grab a quick bite after his therapy session at Athletico. At first I thought it was just a donut shop but they had signs on their windows showing they also do burritos and bagel sandwiches. We were greeted so nicely by a gentleman and a lady. I ordered the chipotle bagel sandwich with natural OJ, my boyfriend ordered a black coffee and the ranchero burrito. Unfortunately my order came out wrong, I believe they had given me the ranchero but on a bagel. I didn’t mind, it still looked good. I didn’t say anything but the gentleman realized he didn’t get my order right. The lady proceeded to make my correct order and even kindly wrapped the wrong order and put it in a bag for me to take home. While we were eating. An older lady had parked her car and was taking her sweet time coming in. The gentleman that worked there, came out to hold the door for her and greeted her so kindly. We will definitely be back even if we live 30min away, the great quality customer service is worth it. Thank you for your passion and care!

We went Thanksgiving morning because it also happened to be my son’s birthday. I was grateful that they were open. The staff was super friendly even though they were super busy. We were pleased to find out that the Winchell’s dozen is actually 14 donuts! Our kids loved the donuts. Thanks for giving the birthday boy his 🍩wish!

This specific donut shop has been a long time favorite. The staff is very nice. The quality is always great! I've never seen them run out of stock. I have always loved Winchell's. Their sandwiches are very delicious. My favorite and "go to" is the chocolate long John.

We stopped in on Christmas morning, they're open everyday, incredible looking donuts and the staff all looked like a sweet family, ordered a dozen donuts they give you 14 in a dozen! They're huge, crunchy and soft, every donut was great!! Also ordered bagel melts with bacon and avocado, my kids loved them! Get a dozen donuts you won't regret it!!

Always head to Winchells for my co workers for breakfast surprise Employees are super friendly. Clean dining area. Prices are fair.

We stopped by for a boston cream and a raspberry donut. They were both delicious! Especially the fillings in the donuts. They were also larger than most donuts so we split one and had the other later.

I have tried 3 other donut shops in Omaha, and this is by far the best one. The donuts are soft, have the right amount of sweetness, and they are bigger than most donuts!

It has been a long time since I have been to Winchell's since moving far away, but it was still great. They still have an excellent selection of donuts and they are still delicious. The shop has been under new ownership for the past two years and the owners were their working and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this Winchell's!!!

This place is customer service and food is always the best.. the coffee come the donuts, but then for breakfast sandwiches, bam! What do you think they couldn't go any further when they give you personal customer service with a smile and treat you with the utmost care. I've been coming here 15 years and even if losing weight is more important, I still will keep coming back. LOL

The Doughnuts are all fresh. The staff is always so friendly and very nice. Always feel welcome there as soon as i walk in the door.

Amazing tasty fresh doughnuts, I was cautious at first but you can't go wrong with the softness and that delicious taste that will explode your taste buds. Best reason to get up at 6a.m.!

I don’t have pics, but let me just say this…. WINCHELLS has been a staple in Omaha since I was a little kid. I then went about 25 years without eating a donut and one day I stumbled into the location on SOUTH 120th. There I was greeted by a very nice gentlemen whom I believe to be the owner. A very nice lady accompanied him, whom I believe to be his wife. Nonetheless, let me just tell you, the Winchells taste is something you’ll always remember. It literally took me back to my childhood. This location also offers breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, FRESH OJ! Also, an array of other items…. Krispy Kreme is right next door and IDC what they do, they’ll never have that WINCHELLS taste! I said all that to say this! Quality customer service is a rarity these days in the service industry. But this establishment provides it like it IS their job! Their son, a very polite young man greeted people with a very well heard greeting. Answered with yes sir, yes ma’am and certainly impressed me. Which is hard to do these days given how the generations are being raised. I think the prices are very reasonable for the food you get and it’s a family ran, locally owned business!! This place has always been busy when I go, which should be a sign of the food and service they provide! The old fashioned donuts are hard to beat. I love the butterscotch cruller donut and their TURKEY AVOCADO BAGELS ARE SOOOOO GOOD!! I usually double order for lunch and dinner!! Seriously, if you’re looking to satisfy that sweet tooth gooooo in and grab a donut, or a dozen. Hell, they stay good for atleast a few days!! Also, YOURE WELCOME!!! Lol 🤤🤤

Went here because the Krispe Cream line was long and it was a great decision. Donuts were fresh, large, tasty and very affordable. Jelly filled and cinnamon role donuts were amazing.

I was in town and heard there was a Winchell's in the area. I haven't been to one in 30 years growing up in CA. I was told this is the last remaining Winchell's. Donuts still the best. Lots of nostalgia.

I just love this place! The donuts are sooo delicioso and never disappoints me! I always visit when I come in town AND I found out that they are now open 24 hours 😳😀

My favorite donut shop since childhood! Still no one beats them when it comes to taste. Came back to visit from Germany and Winchell's was at the top of my list to visit. 🙂

First trip to Nebraska! The donuts was so fresh and soft. Theybhad apple filled donuts which are hard to come across. My breakfast sandwich was delicious. The simplicity of it but was soooo good.
