Winchell's Donut House

We went Thanksgiving morning because it also happened to be my son’s birthday. I was grateful that they were open. The staff was super friendly even though they were super busy. We were pleased to find out that the Winchell’s dozen is actually 14 donuts! Our kids loved the donuts. Thanks for giving the birthday boy his 🍩wish!

First time experience here was amazing! Quality service all around. I wish I lived closer. My boyfriend and I stopped by to grab a quick bite after his therapy session at Athletico. At first I thought it was just a donut shop but they had signs on their windows showing they also do burritos and bagel sandwiches. We were greeted so nicely by a gentleman and a lady. I ordered the chipotle bagel sandwich with natural OJ, my boyfriend ordered a black coffee and the ranchero burrito. Unfortunately my order came out wrong, I believe they had given me the ranchero but on a bagel. I didn’t mind, it still looked good. I didn’t say anything but the gentleman realized he didn’t get my order right. The lady proceeded to make my correct order and even kindly wrapped the wrong order and put it in a bag for me to take home. While we were eating. An older lady had parked her car and was taking her sweet time coming in. The gentleman that worked there, came out to hold the door for her and greeted her so kindly. We will definitely be back even if we live 30min away, the great quality customer service is worth it. Thank you for your passion and care!

I don’t have pics, but let me just say this…. WINCHELLS has been a staple in Omaha since I was a little kid. I then went about 25 years without eating a donut and one day I stumbled into the location on SOUTH 120th. There I was greeted by a very nice gentlemen whom I believe to be the owner. A very nice lady accompanied him, whom I believe to be his wife. Nonetheless, let me just tell you, the Winchells taste is something you’ll always remember. It literally took me back to my childhood. This location also offers breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, FRESH OJ! Also, an array of other items…. Krispy Kreme is right next door and IDC what they do, they’ll never have that WINCHELLS taste! I said all that to say this! Quality customer service is a rarity these days in the service industry. But this establishment provides it like it IS their job! Their son, a very polite young man greeted people with a very well heard greeting. Answered with yes sir, yes ma’am and certainly impressed me. Which is hard to do these days given how the generations are being raised. I think the prices are very reasonable for the food you get and it’s a family ran, locally owned business!! This place has always been busy when I go, which should be a sign of the food and service they provide! The old fashioned donuts are hard to beat. I love the butterscotch cruller donut and their TURKEY AVOCADO BAGELS ARE SOOOOO GOOD!! I usually double order for lunch and dinner!! Seriously, if you’re looking to satisfy that sweet tooth gooooo in and grab a donut, or a dozen. Hell, they stay good for atleast a few days!! Also, YOURE WELCOME!!! Lol 🤤🤤
