This place is cozy and fun. Its decorated a bit like an assistant professor's apartment with a vintage HiFi setup including the record player, and crazy art on the walls, and the chairs are a hodgepodge of other collections, equally retro and cool.
They make tasty mixed drinks and have a decent selection of wines and a wide selection of craft beers.
The music was on point, and they've got big outdoor heaters for the smokers.

Met a friend here last night when I was visiting from KC. The owner was present and he was very friendly and personable. As was the bartender working. The bar has a good vibe and feels very relaxing. Great sections of drinks. If I lived in Omaha Iโd be a regular! There was a perfectly sized patio as well. Definitely worth checking out!

First time here, and we will definitely return. Staff was great and attentive despite there being a large birthday party there at the time. They have dialed in versions of all the classic cocktails and unique ones for the more adventurous.

I love the vibe of this place, it definitely reminds you of a cozy speakeasy ๐ฅ I had a Godfather (amaretto and bourbon), and even though it was off menu, they made it perfectly; the manager even complimented me on my choice! The bathrooms are really clean as well and I really enjoyed the live music. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend ๐๐พ

Service was great. Old fashioned wasn't as good as ink well but serviceable. How's a great vibe and a casual atmosphere I'll go back.

Great drinks, great staff, not a spot to hit if you want shots and drafts. But always a great crowd and great people.

This is my kind of place. The lighting is low, vibe is welcoming and relaxing. GREAT drinks, many options, and the bartender was super knowledgeable and even offered alternatives for angostura bitters for future outings. They had minimal food options listed on the chalkboard, but I didn't have anything the night I went, but would definitely explore some food next time! The owner & clientele all were very friendly and open to conversation, too. Just a great experience. Everything about this place was fabulous and I cannot wait to go back and see some live music here!

Very small hole in the wall place. Love the vinyl playing. Great music selection. Can make killer drinks. Our bar tender was Devin. Super knowledgeable. The new York sour was amazing. Way too dark in there though. I wish it was just a tad more lit up. Deals on wine was great too. Definitely will be back many times to come.

Absolutely awesome & unique vibe.
This is a must try if you are looking for a new place to grab a pint or vino in the heart of Omaha.
It is nicely tucked one layer deep in the set of buildings of Countryside Village, and as such, has the feel of a neighborhood bar that you make simply walk up to in a more walking-friendly city.
I enjoy working from one of the back tables, as the entire shopping complex has solid, free wifi. The live music when I have caught it is great.
If I have one critique, and it is honestly the only one and at that, far more of a customer suggestion than critique of the establishment, if you like quieter locales where you can talk late into a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night, simply have a backup plan. Sometimes this is the PERFECT spot and sometimes (usually evident by the volume of cars at the time you pull up) it has become the hot spot of the evening and as such, is great for those looking for that, but can be a touch loud/crowded. Seriously though, if that's my only "constructive critique recommendation" to the customer base, that's a heck of a compliment and intended as such.
Kudos to the proprietors and team. Can't wait to be back.

Cedar is a great fit for the neighborhood and the neighborhood is wishing Cedar would've opened years ago.
Nick, the owner, takes the time to say hello and when it's not busy, he'll ask a little bit about what's going on in your world.
They have a great wine and beer selection---probably 30-40 choices, not 5-10. The decor is cool, the record player is a nice touch and the bartenders are always nice and personable.
