A beautiful sushi spot in Blackstone. If you’re looking for a cozy, upscale sushi restaurant…this is it. The music was low enough that we could feel relaxed and have a conversation. We started with some black tea and appetizers. We ordered spring rolls and steamed edamame and miso soup to start. Everything was presented so beautifully.

Might be my new favorite sushi place. Went here on a Sunday night to be pleasantly surprised with all day happy hour. The happy hour menu has a good mix of small plates, drinks, and sushi. Endless hot tea was only 3 dollars! Our waiter was awesome and our food came out in a decent amount of time. I particularly enjoyed the pork belly slider because it was something really different and fun. The Mount. Fuji roll was also delicious. I really love the location, too. Blackstone has become such a fun area. Can't wait to come back and try more menu items!

The food here is so delicious. I ordered the Mahalo Roll, Oaxaca Roll, Soy Caramel Wings, Salmon Nigiri and the Pork Slider... Everything was so flavorful and the Jalapeño Margarita was perfect. I can't wait to go back.

The food was full of great flavor! The crab rangoon were phenomenal, and the miso soup was savory and delicious. The sushi was excellent quality! The food came out slow, but the staff explained that they were short staffed. Even so, they were very friendly and attentive to us. In short, both the service and food are worth 5/5 stars!

Very good sushi and food! A little expensive, but going during their happy hours help. I was especially impressed with the pork belly slider! They were fantastic.

My wife went for a date night and had a wonderful time with excellent food. If you can, go when the happy hour is going on. Well worth the prices and great selection from their menu. Ended up getting 5 rolls and two cocktails for around $50. Service was a little slow for the amount of people in the restaurant, but overall very friendly.

Pro tip: they have happy hour from 2 to 6 p.m. daily. You will find the items one to two dollars cheaper on the special menu. The Thai iced tea float is part of it as well as a little bit of alcohol. As well they have a lunch special, pick 3 for $15. You get a drink which includes alcohol, a starter, and you choose a main course. Returned recently. Another fantastic experience. Lunch for 2 was just under $100 after taxes, our drink options were tea. (From the tea Smith $5) We liked that the menu had many popular items that were all enhanced, just small touches that make the item more special. We ordered the seared big eye appetizer, spicy ceviche appetizer, Firefly roll, yellow tail hamachi maki, shisito pepper appetizer and the el patron maki. The big eye appetizer, Firefly roll and shisito pepper appetizer would defintely be my re orders. The hamachi maki was fine. There is actually a generous amount of fish, but there was also a lot of rice. The spicy ceviche appetizer is a Beautiful looking appetizer, and is delicious, but must be eaten quickly as the tempura portion doesn't stay crispy over time. Service was thoughtful and polite. ________________________ This is my initial review Service was amazing. My favorite thing was their Thai iced tea float. Definitely something I would go back for. I will mention I did not order the food items and someone else paid. So these are not the items I would have chose had I gone myself. The first starter was blistered beans ($13) a green bean and kimchi dish. Flavors were very good together. It's a soy based sauce with shitake and crispy garlic . The Brussel sprouts ($12) were done with a red miso sauce. Out of the 2 I did find myself eating the Brussel sprouts until there were no more. They also served a broccoli beef which is made with Wagyu skirt steak. $18 It was very tender beef. There was a green sauce I originally thought was wasabi, but tasting it knew it wasn't. I was told it is a broccoli puree. It worked well with the dish. The amalgamation of rolls were more standard. I was hoping for more out there items. They did have one which is my first pick. The one of note was the drop the beat. $10 for 8 pieces. Roasted beet, Apple, pickled jicama, smoked blue cheese, sunflower seeds, avocado and green goddess. My second pick would have been the aloha $12 with shrimp tempura, fresh mangos eel sauce, mango sauce and togarashi. We had a lot of people choosing the salmon Samurai as their favorites. $16 Spicy crab mix, avocado jalapenos, salmon, spicy mayo, pozu, togarashi, cilantro. Due to the spicy mayo (not crazy about it) it was an average roll for me, it was still enjoyable. The other rolls were more standard tasting with a lot of tempura crumb. Like the crispy gold coast $8 and the crispy Blackstone $8. The gold coast does stick out a bit more with a sweet chilli sauce. They were fine rolls, and for that price, a good pick. I just generally would choose something more fresh. All of these rolls didn't require soy sauce as they were sufficiently sauced on their own. I would definitely go back and try more from there! I'm excited to return and order more of their raw items.

Really enjoyed the food, atmosphere & ambiance at this latest addition to the Blackstone District. Went for the all day happy hour on Sunday and had a great time with friends. The restaurant is beautiful with wood, concrete, earth tones and lots of nice lighting. Was skeptical about the $12 Blistered Beans ($10 during happy hour), but nobody else need worry — it was sooo tasty and a good-sized portion. Beans were crisp, sauce was delicious, kimchi was tasty and the shiitake mushrooms in it basically melted in your mouth! Happy hour drink options are good- tried an Asian Peach Mule first, which was light and sweet. The $4 sake is totally probably enough to split two ways. Friends and I each ordered one and could barely finish them after our meal! My two rolls — spicy salmon and a Crispy Blackstone — were delicious. Will definitely be back.

Quality sushi menu with great execution. A well thought out floor plan for a variety of seating options. Beverage program is not quite there-cocktails need work. Service was superb. Nice job management
