My husband and I are of Czech background and fruit kolaches were a common treat in our households. We were excited to find our first Kolache Factory in TX. They were delicious and brought back childhood memories. We are from SD and were pleased to find a Kolache Factory in Omaha, NE...3 hour drive, but one can find an excuse to travel that direction, which we have twice now. Even though the kolaches were great in TX, we have found the Factory in Omaha makes them even better. Way to go, Omaha! I do make kolaches, but with being empty nesters we don’t need that many, so the Kolache Factory is prefect. Highly recommend!
We frequently visit the Kolache Factory at 12321 West Maple and it has become our favorite pastry shop. We have always been searching for pastries that are as good as those that we found in Munich Germany. WOW this it ! The people who serve you here are also one of the main reasons why we come here. We generally stop here before going to Church on Sunday and invariably have Avry Johnson as our server. He is the most friendly and courteous person you could ever want. He takes the time to explain each pastry and the baking process. It is so ensuring in today's world to see a person so happy and energetic about their job. Thanks again Kolache Factory AND Avry. We went here for breakfast. I tried the bacon, egg and cheese kolache and a blueberry kolache. They were both delicious!! The service was great and the girl who waited on us was helpful and attentive!! It was a great first experience and we’ll definitely be back!!
So I normally don’t rave or go out of my way to recommend restaurants since there are so many of them and they’re so subjective; but I have to let people know about the Kolache Factory.
I had never had them before when someone offered one to try. I was immediately impressed and told my wife that we needed to try them for breakfast this weekend. We picked up up some this morning and cannot get over how good they were and at such a reasonable price! We totally recommend you give them a try!!!
Always fresh and delicious! I love the flavor of the dough, and the variety of items that they offer- anything from sweet to savory. The apricot and blueberry are my favorite. The employees are also very friendly and help me find something else I like when they are out of a flavor I may be looking for. Will be coming back!
Good kolaches. Youthful staff returned smiles some, a bit short on enthusiasm, perhaps reflecting lack of self confidence and limited knowledge base of Czech culture? I'm part Czech so everyone should be excited about tasty Czech food, right? Haven't tried the coffee or anything else on the menu yet. Seemed clean. I'll give it another try.
Alvaro Is more than a 5* employee - he is someone that is passionate about customer service and delivering the best product while always bringing a positive uplifting attitude. My toddler gets excited coming to this location in particular not just because the food is excellent but more so his interaction with Alvaro. He calls my son a superhero and you should see the big grin on his face. I would not be joking to say we frequent this establishment so much specifically because of him. The rest of the Kolache Factory team is awesome as well
Little packets of deliciousness! Especially the egg, sausage and cheese. These Kolaches are the perfect breakfast and road trip food; we love to grab a big box on our way out of town and then breakfast, lunch and snacks are taken care of for the day. Wonderful people working here, always friendly and efficient. Thanks guys!
So so so good. I brought some in for a food day at work and both I and my co-workers thoroughly enjoyed the food. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast and easy to get in and out in the morning. There are several flavors to choose from and definitely recommend trying them all.
I love kolaches! Grandmas were certainly better, but. These are pretty good. And they've got some pretty interesting balls of awesome. More expensive than I'd like. Having only been here a few times I'm not sure but I think they offer their kolaches at a discount towards 2pm when they close. But like I said I'm not sure... :P
Clean, friendly service and good food.
They have great options avable always bussy and a seating area to eat if you didn't want to eat on the run. Just wish they had a drive through. Or curb side delivery. But defiantly a yum yum in my tum. Prices are slightly high but worth it I love there biskit and gravy kolache and there cherry Kolacke
