Vis Major Brewing

We decided to take a walk down to our local brewery on a Monday night and enjoy some awesome beers! The beer is great, tons of selection that rotate regularly. Every pour was high quality and tasted great. The beers I had were all complex with tons of interesting flavor and definitely have me wanting to go back soon. Food selection are good for bar food, their pizzas are excellent and come out quick!

Staff is excellent. Pizza is great, and each month they make a special pie! The beer and drinks are great, and I recommend picking up a can of your favorite to take home. Interior is a mix of Gothic and Art Deco design. Ask about Trivia Nights, and events. Bike racks out front. Perfect for the Hanscom Park neighborhood!

I was so pleased to see vegan and gluten-free options on the menu! I ordered a pizza called “The Pesto’s Yet To Come” with vegan cheese. The bartender, Lauren was so extremely kind and explained all the options to me. She even let me know there’s vegan pepperoni available! Price for the size of the pizza with the vegan cheese was definitely worth every penny. I can’t wait to go back.

This was a great craft brewery with really good food. The staff was great and excited to talk about their beer, food, and even gave some great recommendations for local places to visit. I would reccomend going by and enjoying an evening with a good pint of beer. (They also have 32 oz crowlers to go!)

10/10 would recommend this establishment. From the time I stepped foot in the door, everything about this place left the best impression! Inclusive atmosphere, hospitable bartender, beautiful food presentation, and delicious drink list. I recommend to everyone this neighborhood gem! I would like to come back here again

Nice comfortable brewery to go hang out with friends and get a drink with some tasty pizza. I liked that there were no tvs in the place so you could concentrate on who you are with. I was visiting with a group of friends. We ended up sharing/swapping slices to try multiple pizzas. The pizza crust was much better here than i expected. It had a bit of a bread like texture/chew. A little thicker crust but cooked through (I've had a few raw in the middle pizzas from other places so this matters to me). The chorizon (5 stars) was my favorite out of that one and the pie one (3.75 stars). I tried the crab Rangoon (3 stars) and wasn't the biggest fan, but I'm generally not a big crab Rangoon person.. just not big on that sweet chili on my pizza. If you like it though this might be for you as my friends who love crab Rangoon liked it. Service was very friendly at the bar. They seemed a bit understaffed tonight so service was a bit slower. We had to wait awhile to find someone to close the bar tab out. Parking is available in a lot across the street. It seems to be accessible from center Street. I missed the turn however, so ended up doing Street parking as there was some directly in front of the building as well.
