Our server Stacey did a fantastic job with our big group. The food is so delicious (chorizo queso dip) and their various flavors of margaritas are pretty darn tasty (could use a lil more tequila). We enjoyed the beautiful weather on their patio. Definitely coming back again!

Man this place is amazing! My dad and I come for breakfast every weekend. You can tell the owners really care. They spend a lot of money with their outdoor patio plants and decorate so nicely! We enjoy the outdoor patio even now because they have kickass heaters. We especially enjoy Patrice, she’s so good at what she does and she is so kind! I recommend time and time again!

We took some out of town guests for breakfast. Everyone young and old enjoyed it. Their chilaquiles were the best. Nice amount of spice and flavor.

Very good and authentic Mexican restaurant located in downtown Elkhorn!
The atmosphere is good with a bunch of Mexican themed decorations, Mexican music playing and a good number of TVs showing sports.
The entrance is a little weird as you enter through the patio but that was very nice as the weather was perfect to sit outside.
Maximos is definitely on the expensive side when it comes to Mexican food, but it's well worth it as all dishes are prepared fresh with fresh and high quality ingredients.
Service was basic but good. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back.

Absolutely love Maximos! The margaritas are great, service is exceptional, and I have never had a bad meal here! They have great specials and their shrimp tacos are so good! The outdoor patio is cozy and the perfect place to spend an evening with family or friends! They also have a great brunch menu on the weekends! Order the Chori Papa tacos and thank me later.

Had a great night out with friends! Atmosphere is awesome outside on the patio (beautiful lights and decorations), had a mariachi band play while we were eating and the food was good!

One of our new favorite places due to the fact we just discovered it. The food is always full of flavor and delicious. Margaritas are some of the best we’ve had. We love going for a later bite with their reverse happy hour beginning at 8 pm. Staff is friendly and welcoming and provides a fun environment in addition to the cute patio and decor.

Wow, what a hidden gem in Elkhorn. The food was exquisite, fresh, and very flavorful. Kudos! This was our first visit and will be making this a regular on our list. The server was awesome and provided very insightful and helpful recommendations.

It's Aug 5th 2023. We've eaten at Maximo's before, always outside, and it's always great food. Today, the whole family had the pork carnitas special - honestly the best pork I've ever eaten, ever. Our waitress Lisa was amazing as well. The menu is a bit higher priced than other Me i an restaurants, but the food is great. The flour tortillas chips with salsa are also great.

This is a delicious Mexican restaurant. The food is fresh and unique. I ordered chicken enchiladas and had the choice of red, green or cheese sauce and also choice of corn or flour tortillas. I opted for green and cheese sauces and it was very good. The green is a bit spicy and plays well off the creamy cheese sauce. The chicken was all white meat. We sat on the patio and enjoyed all the flowers and plants. We will be going back!

We had a very rude waitress. I asked several times for a refill, but she ignored me. The lady who brought us our lunch was very nice! The food is pricey, however absolutely delicious!!

Phenomenal place to have dinner. Really great and refreshing to have authentic Mexican food. Not too overpowering in any particular flavor - everything was super balanced. I ordered the Burrito Mojado and it was “knock your socks off” delicious. Will 100% come back!

We visited Maximo's for the first time tonight and had the best experience. They were able to seat us right away even without a reservation. The food was amazing!! Fresh and perfectly seasoned, easily the best Mexican we've had in Omaha. Table service was top-notch, including immediately replacing a plate that inadvertently had a non-GF item. That attention to detail combined with the food will make us regulars!

Had dinner here last night. The portions are great. Wife got a peach margarita that was very good. My photo and dinner choice was a chimichanga. Ended up taking half home with me, so much food. No complaints. Dinner for 2 adults with a drink each and a child came to around 75 dollars.

Brunch with a cousin:
Had the hevos rancheros
And a pork tamale. Eggs were cooked to order and the tamales were good. It seemed a nice group of Elkorn Ne locals were present but the conversations were quiet. Drinks were available along with Mexican coffee. Sat near the front of the restaurant with light coming through the windows and looking at the downtown businesses. There was some colorful art on the walls. Service was great we had a nice time and a fun visit. Would go back.
