First time to try Kona Grill and service was good. However, the food was not so good. I had the Phad Thai and it tasted sweet, and the portion was good for two people. Service was good as our server made sure that we got what we ordered and that she didn’t missed anything. My Miso Soup was superb and flavorful; the watermelon margaritas was good too!. I definitely still recommend this place for sushi and rolls and cocktails. Service was good too so I gave the server a good tip.😊
Grace D gave us a fabulous experience during an impromptu happy hour at Kona Grill on Thursday night. She was very busy, but made us feel totally welcome, and took care of us exceptionally well. We enjoyed a chicken, flatbread and sliders along with margaritas. Everything was well prepared and very flavorful. Would totally go back again. One side of the restaurant has long windows that open to the outdoor courtyard mall, offering a unique ambience.
My date and I came to Kona after our original date idea got canceled. Kona was such a nice atmosphere and we were welcomed immediately and sat quickly. We ordered wine and a couple steaks and I will say that is one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time! It was cooked to perfection! The manager even came around with candles to put on the tables. It was so romantic! Thank you Kona for making our date wonderful!
Kona is a great place to bring family friends, they have a variety of dinner dishes to choose from, and the best sushi. If you’re looking for good service and a great evening give this place a try! They’re fantastic!
Kona Margaritas are my favorite here. They have gluten-free options on the menu, but I asked for accommodations on the sweet chili glazed salmon to have gluten-free fried rice! 😋 was very good. Spouse got Kona Stir-fry, which was good. Our server was not my favorite but she corrected her mistake. We sat in the patio and they had the heater on(hot outside) they turned them off and opened the windows, it was beautiful outside! One downfall was our table was extremely sticky, maybe time to replace them. They seem clean, but our menus stuck to the table.
Great service and a welcoming atmosphere. Food was good but could be better portioned.
Still a good place for happy hour, but used to be better. The selection of happy hour sushi is now very limited, although they did add more menu items. The lettuce wraps are still really good. BBQ pizza flatbread is also a great option. Overall it's still a place I recommend.
I took my two daughters (8 and 9) for a girls’ day out and had the best experience! Our server was kind, helpful, and attentive. This is one of our places to go and will keep on returning.
The sushi was an absolute delight. The presentation alone was a work of art, but the flavors were truly what stole the show. Each bite was a burst of culinary creativity. Our server Julian had some wonderful suggestions that I loved!
To complement the sushi, I sampled a variety of exquisite teas. The tea selection was extensive, and Julian’s knowledge and recommendations enhanced the experience.
The ambiance of the restaurant was equally impressive, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. All of the Halloween decorations were so cute and festive! Julian was an amazing server—the service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive.
I can't praise Julian and Kona enough for their outstanding sushi and tea offerings. 🍣☕️
First off, this is a really cool concept with lots of excellent and creative menu items. Flaming sushi shows, full bar, wagu beef, what's not to like?
I opted for Surf & Turf, upgraded the sushi to lobster, and swapped out the side for brussels sprouts and believe I've created the perfect meal. The service was excellent at 9:30 pm on a Sunday (came straight from the airport) and the steak was too.
I can highly recommend Kona Grill!
