I went to the zoo with my girlfriend during the Christmas festival and had a great time. We enjoyed walking around looking at the Christmas lights and hearing Christmas music. Awwwwwwwsome! Now I know why this place is known as the best zoo in the entire country!! I stopped by a little later in the day, so I only got to see maybe only a fourth of the entire zoo and that was enough to make me want to come back for a special trip (we live in Idaho). The zoo is fantastic. We've been to many zoos throughout the US and abroad, this one ranks up there with the best ones. The grounds are massive and covering all the exhibits in one day would be challenging. Especially if you have kids with you, then forget about it and just enjoy what you can get to
That was quite an amazing zoo. Got there late so a lot of things were closing. You can definitely spend at least 4 hours there! The attractions are very cheap, and the food was amazing. The entrance especially made me feel like I was walking into a theme park.
This is the place where oftentimes we go with our kid. Aquarium is the must to visit, looks so nice. We rode the skyfari, that was amazing. Entire place is so big, you will need lots of walking, yet enjoyable. Will also recommend for sea lions section.
Incredible zoo and experience. Bring a stroller, snacks, water, a hat/sunglasses, and layers as outside can be cool but inside can be warm!

A truly wonderful zoo! You’ll enjoy the diversity of animals and keep in mind you’ll be doing a lot of walking! The aquarium with shark + sea turtle tunnel is a great rest out of the sun. Can buy food inside or bring your own. Really nice gift shop as well and great outing for couples or families. D
