Great place to pop in for a drink after work by yourself or with a bunch of friends. Plenty of space at the bar, the tables, or the upstairs.
Had a Luck, Be My Lady, a great cocktail for those who appreciate things a little bit on the sweater side.
Staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful.
A neat historic atmosphere. I attended with a large group so we were reserved seating upstairs by ourselves. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Unique menu for anyone that likes to try new things but still has some common meals to order if unique entrees are out of your comfort zone. I had the smoked meatloaf sandwich and bourbon bread pudding. They were both very good. Another member of our group had a salad and tomato soup but said it wasn't very good. So we had mixed reviews from the table, but overall, it was a good experience that I would recommend giving a try.
The beet burger is SOOOO good!! I love the rich color and it tastes amazing. The peanut butter and jalapeños totally work. The lemon pepper broccoli is also good! If you haven’t tried the Bourbon bread pudding, you definitely need to. There are a lot of high tables and bar seats, and a couple short tables by the window :)
I was pleasantly surprised by the ability of the restaurant to wait on our large party quickly, despite being short staffed. Our food came out quickly and was really tasty. I thought the prices were very reasonable considering how delicious everything was. I definitely recommend the house smoked tomato soup.
Was here for a work event and the space was perfect! Casual but intimate, with great spacing and a beautiful interior. The bartender was attentive and super helpful. The food was great too - highly recommend the beet chips, smoked wings, and pulled pork eggrolls. Will definitely be coming back to try out the full menu.
The roasted tomato soup is what drew me in. But I am telling you that the house salad is simply phenomenal, the dressing, the right amount of everything...I have never had a better salad (in a box as I took it to go). The beer chips are also good! The tomato soup had a heavy smoked flavor which did not appeal to me much, but hey... The house salad did it for me!A Burger and a chicken wrap for my party were ok. A little too dim for me lol. Did I mention the house salad?
Great place! The staff was friendly and polite. I love the brick walls and dime lights. Amazing place to hangout and relax. The food is all made house and is delicious. You can tell they care about the product they put out. Will definitely be back
Had such a positive experience the first time that we came back again within the week. The server did a great job of describing all the specials both drink and food. The drink special I ordered was delicious, it was basil citrusy topped with champagne although I forgot the name. We got the poutine croquette as an appetizer and it is probably currently my favorite app in Omaha. It comes with five but I only got the picture with three on the plate because we couldn't wait to eat them again. I ordered the fish and chips for dinner. The paper it's served on looks like a news paper and the headline was about fish and chips which I thought was a cute detail. One consistent thing we noticed here is that the servers do a great job getting food out of the kitchen fast and its always been served hot.
We had the meatloaf sandwich and the philly sandwich with spinach salad. Both were delicious. The meatloaf sandwich was a bit spicier than you might expect - but so good!! Service was friendly and prompt. Definitely recommend!
We had a fantastic time here last night. The food was fantastic, the beers were delicious and the service was amazing. This was a perfect spot to grab late night dinner after a long day of traveling.
