We were really excited for my daughters wedding cake and cupcakes after having sampled flavors. They were delicious. When we finally placed the order all was well. She called to add on more cupcakes a couple months prior to the event. When the cake showed up to the venue, we were shorted the extra dozen we added on, she did say I didn’t pay for them, but I know we at least called to add them, and the cake stand we paid for was also missing. Lauren did graciously offer to go get a cake stand (as we didn’t have one) and brought back the cupcakes. It was a long drive so we appreciated it. We got many compliments on the cake. And I agree, it was very very good. I was however a bit disappointed that the cake was leaning severely. After they cut into their portion and removed it we continued to cut the cake. It was almost tipping over. Most of the pictures we have of the cake cutting showed a lopsided cake. I do know she was very busy delivering cakes this day, but I had preferred a nice straight cake. At least is was yummy!

Lauren was so incredibly easy to work with on my daughter's custom cake. She took my ideas and ran with them. I hope to be able to order from her again in the future. My daughter LOVED her cake & so did every person that got to see it. She had so many different options to choose from as far as flavors, fillings, toppings and ganaches go. We went with a strawberry cake, with vanilla buttercream & the pineapple filling and I can't rave about it enough! Usually we will buy from somewhere else and it usually goes to waste but we ate the entire cake & wanted more! Lauren is an absolute goddess & her activist work made me love her even more! You're amazing, Lauren! Thank you for sharing your craft!

I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter fairly short notice and Gotti Sweets made it happen perfectly! Once we cut into the inside the rainbow layer cake looked amazing and my daughter loved it. Having ordered cakes from independent bakeries before I was more than content with everything and I have to say this is the best tasting cake I have had ordered.

I ordered a birthday cake for my best friend's 40th and everyone was so happy with the cake! Lauren was easy to work with and patiently answered my questions about the flavor combination. (We got the champagne cake with strawberry compote and buttercream icing.) It was the best buttercream frosting I've ever had! It was so good, our server even asked for a slice and a few folks went back for another sliver, even after we had a full dinner. I highly recommend getting a cake from Lauren!

Gotti Sweets made my wedding cake and it was absolutely gorgeous!! Not only did it look beautiful, it was delicious! We got half apple spice and half chocolate ganache. Everybody told us how scrumptious they were all night. I really loved the apple compote filling, it was like the inside of an apple pie. We highly recommend getting a cake from them!!

Absolutely obsessed with everything she makes! I ordered cookies for a surprise 80th and gave a general idea. I wanted '80,' dahlias, ball mason jars and happy birthday with a blue theme (cookies pictured with other goodies on the desert table). She ran with it and they far surpassed any expectations. Everyone was amazed with them! I cannot recommend her enough! Communication and creativity are next level!!!!!

I have ordered cakes in the past from this business and was treated very well. Both my wife and I loved the cakes. Today sadly the level of customer service I received from the owner/operator of this establishment was appalling. There was a customer right before me and when it was my turn I was greeted with a WHAT DO YOU WANT? I was taken back yet my response was I would like to order a cake for my wife’s birthday and gave her the date. The owner very aggressively said that she could not do it and that she would be busy baking 50 cakes for an event and taking time off next week. All she had to say was I will not be able to do it for that date and I will be taking some time off. It wasn’t necessarily what she said but the tone and way she said it. It was sharp and left a bad image in my mind and a bad taste in my mouth. As I turned around to leave she asked me if I was the person who called her and I replied no I didn’t call you. Maybe she had a bad customer call before I arrived. I don’t know but what do know is she did not have to take it out on me.I am all for supporting our local small business owners and I understand that things are tough for them but experiences like this cause me to consider choosing a different business in the future. Good cake bad customer experience.
