Came for breakfast. Service was 5 stars but slightly missed on the food. Don't get me wrong it tasted good, but they missed some order notes.
My wife loves her eggs browned. They weren't. She ordered the captains breakfast. She's always hesitant on having them cooked more in fear of being argued with as it happens more often than not. So she opted not to eat her food. She also thought her pancakes along with her hash browns could be cooked slightly longer.
I ordered the hangover, which was a huge pile of hashbrowns, sausage gravy, eggs, bacon, and sausage. Mine tasted really good, but I agree the hashbrowns could have been cooked slightly longer as well. My sausages were cooked, but had to have been sitting for a while before rest of food was plated, they were barley warm when brought to table.
My son ordered the shipmates breakfast and a hot chocolate. He wasn't happy with the sausage as he said it was to spicy, but enjoyed his pancakes.

We have driven by the Shipwreck Cafe for years. The parking lot is always full. Now we know why!
Circumstances had us leaving the house before breakfast, so by the time late morning came and we were headed back home, we were hungry and I was debating: do I make lunch or breakfast when we get home?
But, we were less than a mile from the Shipwreck Cafe. So we decided to stop. We are so glad we did!
We were seated immediately. The restaurant was very clean, and the service was friendly. But the food! Portions are generous and everything was cooked to perfection. I had the French Toast, Bacon (crisp) and scrambled eggs. The eggs were fluffy and not overcooked like many places. My husband had the Denver Omelet. It too was fluffy, the veggies were fresh, and the ham was not the pre-packaged diced ham that many chain restaurants use. It was smoked ham, that I would guess was diced in house.
I cannot say one negative thing about the Shipwreck Cafe. What I can say? This is our new favorite breakfast stop, and we will be back. I can't wait to see what's for lunch!

Got the prime rib (available on Fri and Sat) with a side of asparagus and chowder fries (yes, that's fries with clam chowder on top). The prime rib was delicious! The chowder fries were amazing - honestly, the chowder itself was so good I should have just gotten a side of soup. Perhaps, the most impressive: The asparagus was perfect. Cooked just right with a bit of garlic. Super friendly staff as well. I honestly feel stupid for taking so long to try the Shipwreck Cafe. It's awesome, and I'll be back.

Amazing food. French dip is always on spot and fresh fish n chips are a winner too. Really you can't go wrong with anything here. Average dish been $10-15 so for our family of 6 it's reasonable. We take all of our out of town visitors to eat here!

Great burgers! Excellent service. Only thing I would put as a suggestion is for your online ordering add an option to put a note so if the customer wants their food a special way they can note it for their orders. Other than that top notch all around!

Thanks for the GREAT staff, yummy and always reliable food (only place I can get eggs over-med right every time).
Outdoor dining and drive through pickup for those of us still COVID weary.
The Shipwreck Cafe is a regular go-to breakfast spot for us but lunch and dinner are good too — although I’m pretty sure they do breakfast ALL DAY!
I think they need a HWY sign on 101 that reads “Last Great Food for ## Miles Exit Here” 😋

Got the Loco moco breakfast and I enjoyed it. Was lucky to come upon this place its not really big but it's comfortable. To me the best express there was the server we got. I can not remember her name but she has been there for yrs and just had this great personality. The younger servers should follow her and learn from her. Example if you are pouring coffee for your customers check to see if the other tables need a top up. Remember it's one team

Always a place you can count on for three things: friendly staff, lots of food, and reasonable prices. This is always a must if my wife and I have time to have brunch together on a weekday morning. Good GF options for my wife and awesome oyster dishes all day.
