Very friendly staff. They opened at 11 am, but we were there about 10 minutes before 11. 1 of the staffs opened the door for us before 11 am. The food was prepared perfectly especially the lobsters. They are so tender and juicy. Since I can’t eat dairy, I asked for the lobster scallop enchiladas without cheese. They are very accommodating. I definitely go back to this place. In addition, the price is very reasonable.

Sol Azteca is one of my favorite places to eat out. The food is great, prices are reasonable, and the noise level is low enough that you can have a real conversation! Gotta love it!

Sopa de polla was a little salty but hot and flavorful with celery carrots chicken.
House and Sol Azteca salads had fresh ingredients but would suggest adding some Romaine or Arugula. Steak was tasty but tepid.
Good service at the bar.
Well done steak quesadilla was pretty good. Taco salad needs more lettuce to balance out the fillings.

Sol Azteca is a true Olney gem. The margaritas are amazing, the chips and queso are addictive, and the food is simply delicious. My family and I love coming here as often as we can, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Mexican dining experience.

This is a casual and family-friendly but still special tex mex restaurant. They have all the classics, prepared really well. I love the salmon, and my husband loves the cubano steak and the pollo saltado. Our kiddo said the chicken tenders from the kids' menu were "bussin'", too.

We ordered a Mojito and Mexican soda. Mojito was strong but served in a small glass with lot of ice. Ordered the second glass with less ice and it was perfect. Recommend anyone to do so. Then we ordered a dish of chicken enchilada and shrimp & chicken Fajita. Both were perfect. Better than most of Mexican restaurants we have visited. Portion was huge. Served us within 5 mins of placing the order. Staff was really friendly and nice. They check with us every 5 mins or so. They have a bar as well. plenty of parking available right infront.

Amazing Jalapeño Margaritas and one of the few places with an incredible Mariscada soup! If you eat shrimp make sure to try Gambas Al Ajillo for appetizer. Salmon with capers and any fajitas are delicious. Salmon salad is my option when avoiding all the rice and beans. Their chips and salsa are also great. The staff is really friendly and many have worked there several years, which made me think of them during the 2020 shutdown...luckily they are all back with the same big smile and welcoming service. Just wish they served refried beans and fried yuca. But, they have Tostones!!! And if you ever tried this Puerto Rican tradition you know you must order when available ;)

This place is one of the best around, I order lomo saltado everywhere that serves the dish and sol Azteca has THE biggest plate of it I have had the pleasure of eating. Matter fact, every entree just looks and tastes amazing. The staff is very friendly and attentive as well. Very spacious and clean with beautiful paintings also.

Definitely one of my favorite new Mexican restaurants in the area. Great chips and salsa and ask for the tomatillo salsa with your chips. We got the pina colada and strawberry daiquiris, mussels, the special lamb fajitas and carne asada. We capped it all off with the trés leches cake.

After a great wine tasting my girlfriend and I went for some food to fill up our tummy’s. Sol Azteca was located right next door to the Olney Winery, very convenient. They had outdoor seating which was great and gave us a nice view with a amazing breeze. We both ordered Steak tacos which where amazing, so fresh and was served with rice & beans, and chips. This was our first time visiting and we both really loved the food.

Excellent food and service! The chicken breast has excellent flavor and was moist and not dried out. Perfect cook on the rice and beans. Fresh salsa. Great classic margarita. I wish I lived closer I'd be a regular.
