Love this cafe! Although there are not a lot of choices, the food is terrific and fresh, the coffee is the best, and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. I had an apricot croissant..filled with fresh apricots. My friend had a yogurt parfait to die for. Sandwiches are great too.

I had the privilege of attending an event at the Caffe last night and it was one of the most amazing food experiences I’ve ever had. The owner explained every ingredient for each dish - which is all either sourced locally or directly from his farm in Italy. It was not just good food but truly an experience. The owners’ passion for food and community is remarkable. Top on my list from now on!

Best Italian coffe I’ve had in the US hands down. The owner is very friendly and the café has a very authentic Italian feel with elements of the history of the building it’s in. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!

This is a fine gem in Old Saybrook. It’s so hard to choose what to eat because all of it is so fresh and delicious and tempting.
The owners are charming and soooo dedicated to quality. I love this beautiful place.... just like Italy.

This is a beautiful rendition of James Pharmacy. Probably the best yet. Great service and food is perfect. Not super filling and makes you feel good!

Beautiful little cafe. I went in for coffee beans. They don't sell any. There was almost nothing in the pastry case at 6 PM on a Saturday.
