La Dolce Bakery

My son's two tier Engagement cake was sooo delicious , classic & beautifully decorated by Sophia . Simply Perfect! I sampled three bakeries and * La Dolce in Old Bridge NJ had the most fresh, natural tasting fillings and icing with extremely reasonable pricing. We ordered vanilla cake with French cream/fresh berry filling and whipped cream icing, Delish-five star🌟 I can't thank Sophia and La Dolce enough for their patience, professionalism and pride in their product. Highly recommended special occasion cakes.

Also leaving a stellar review to invalidate the horrible review I just read (the owners response truly sheds light on the reality of the situation). It’s painfully obvious the bakery tried to guide this person in the right direction (because they’re professionals), but the customer went with, “I want what I want so just give it to me,” and then weren’t happy with the results. What a jerk. Amazingly helpful and professional establishment. Beautiful, delicious cake for my daughter’s bday. They walked me through the details of the cake and they’re recommendations, and wouldn’t you know it, it’s perfect. Things can turn out pretty well when you’re kind and open minded 🙂

I had to respond as I saw a review this morning that I completely disagreed with. Whomever left that review clearly had zero idea as to what they are talking about. I have been coming to this establishment for years and we love this place. The food is excellent and the people who run it and service the clients day in and day out are even better. I have the pleasure of saying I know these people are just like their ingredients, they are of the highest quality possible. I won’t go anywhere else for my bakery needs. Please don’t listen to reviews left by brats and spoiled princesses. Give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. Worst place to get a cake from. I got a cake for my husbands birthday and the cake looked like a 2 year old made it and when I called the bakery they told me it’s from the humidity. No it’s because your just terrible. Especially Cindy the cake decorator there. I’m so disappointed with how they handled this situation and will tell everyone I know to never get from them again. Responding back to the unprofessional person that responded back to me on the comment below. You offered me a credit of $75.00 towards the bakery as if I would ever use you ever again so YES I will get this disputed and get my money back since you guys can’t handle this professionally. Second of all, that was not black frosting that would forest green frosting. If it was black It would have blended in with the picture I requested. I’m sure if I would have gotten this done with a professional bakery I would have not had this issue. I will attach a picture for reference for everyone blocking out the middle part
