Outback Steakhouse

We were pleased with our recent visit to this Outback and here is why. First, we were immediately greeted with a friendly staff who sat us immediately. Our server was very nice and the service was very good. We ordered the sirloin steak, chicken Caesar salad and the Alice chicken. The food came out quickly, and exactly how we ordered it. Great job and would recommend visiting.

We visited Outback Steakhouse located at 1397 US Hwy 9, Old Bridge, NJ on Saturday, 1/22/22 around 5:45 pm. It was a busy time on a weekend, but we called ahead to avoid a long wait time. Even though it was busy, there was plenty of parking. They have a wheelchair accessible ramp for those who may require it. We arrived on time & they texted us within 5 minutes or less to be seated. There is plenty of seating inside if you choose to wait in there. They were extremely friendly & it was a nice environment. The waitress came to the table to take our order within minutes, bringing us warm bread & butter. They have quite a nice menu selection (something for everyone.) from drinks, appetizers, dinner & dessert. Our order came out in a timely fashion & was absolutely delicious!! The steak was a nice cut, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I honestly can’t complain about anything! Our waitress was attentive, checking on us regularly to see if we needed anything. The place seemed clean (can’t review the bathroom – didn’t visit it). Kudos to the employees of this establishment & management – everyone seemed happy & it shows. We would highly recommend this Outback Steakhouse - Old Bridge location to others. Great portions & prices as well. We eat out quite a bit & we were pleasantly surprised with this excellent service. Stopped here for a late lunch after visiting the Englishtown Flea Market. We had not been to an Outback in awhile and it was sooooooo good. My wife, daughter and I all got steaks, but different cuts. We all loved our steaks! I also got a baked potato with just butter and my daughter got fries and a salad. My wife got mashed potatoes. I also got the French onion soup. It's very good. I think they use provolone on top instead of swiss... but it was still very good and flavorful. Our server was great, fast and friendly. Oh, and the bread before the meal was delicious, too! We ended up skipping dinner later because our late lunch was so good and filling.

The food here was very good. I got the salmon and my partner got the steak and both were cooked to perfection. Our waitress was super nice as well. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was the cleanliness and the safety protocols. The menus we were given were coated in food and sauces from peoples hands telling me that they don't clean the menus in between customers. Also the tables were sticky and dirty. None of the servers were wearing masks either

It was my first time eating here and my experience was very good. We were hosted by John and he was very attentive. What a phenomenal server with a great personality. Our food came in quickly and tasted delicious. Their steak and loaded potatoes were very good. Overall great service with very respectful staff. Definitely will come again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at this Outback. The food was delicious, everything was served without rushing but not with long waits between courses. We would like to highlight our server, Tee. He was friendly, outgoing, professional, and very knowledgeable of the menu. He went above and beyond in securing for us a special to go order. He is one of those rare people in the restaurant business who seems to really enjoy his work. He helped make our anniversary celebration a memorable one.
