Minsky's Pizza

We ordered delivery of a medium #87 pepperoni pizza. Ordering was easy. Delivery was very fast. But the pizza just wasn’t that good. It was our first time eating Minsky’s so we weren’t sure what to expect. What we got was a pizza with a very think layer of cheese that seemed partially melted. It was okay, just not good or great.

12627 Metcalf Avenue Overland Park Kansas 66213 has horrible customer service as well as management. Shawn (Manager) was rude and REFUSED to remake our pizza that was burned and had no cheese or toppings! We have had trouble at this location for about 6 months but returned because it is near us. They have been burning the crust and cheese 9 out of 10 times. There is literally no toppings on the pizza's we ordered and we always pay for 2 toppings. The cheese does not ever cover the pizza dough nor does it extend to the crust. I would NOT ever say this place serves GOURMET PIZZA! Just overpriced crust and way to much sauce. I literally have to tell them how to make the pizza. Please put toppings on the pizza. Please put enough cheese to cover the dough. Please go easy on the sauce because it is swimming in sauce. Please don't burn the crust. Please don't burn the cheese. And still it comes out looking like a 2 year old made it. I felt like the manager/employees were talking about me and my family for the past 6 months. But today confirmed it was true. I had to go inside to ask them to remake that pizza yet again. Shawn REFUSED! Told me he did not have time to remake it correctly. I showed him how the dough was showing on all the pieces because there was minimal cheese and toppings. He did not care. I showed him the burned cheese. He did not care. Told me that's how we make our pizza. Basically told me to leave. Maybe he needs to retrain the cooks. Maybe he needs to learn how to cook himself because he told me he cooked it himself. Never have I been to a restraunt and complained about the food and been told they refuse to remake it. This place needs new management. Honestly I think somebody is purposely making our pizza like this to mess with us because we dared to complain repeatedly and they want to get rid of us. This company thinks they can make food however they want to and the customer better eat it or don't come here.

normally love minskys but i have had multiple issues with this location in particular. me and my boyfriend always order half & half, pepperoni & half onion & green pepper. the last couple times the toppings were mixed & we couldn’t enjoy our pizza. had to have it remade once & didn’t even bother the second time. This afternoon i wanted to sit at the bar and order some food to go after having a drink. the bartender refused to accept my ID because it wasn’t horizontal. i called the store to speak with a manager, whom apparently happened to be the bartender. i asked for corporates number since she informed me that it was a “policy” and she gave me her GMs email instead. after some digging i found their corporate info & will be getting in touch.
