This is a really fun local coffee and lunch spot. The owners and staff are some of the most genuinely kind and awesomely creative people you’ll ever meet. I haven’t had anything to eat or drink here I didn’t like, and their prices are reasonable. They serve Broadway coffee, Hugo tea, and homemade baked goods. They try to use local, organic and quality ingredients wherever possible. If you haven’t visited, you should totally stop by!

Super friendly staff. Pleasant service. Fun atmosphere. Good food. We had the chicken salad croissant, hot ham and cheese, chips, and salad. We would definitely recommend. Looking forward to going back and trying the pastries.

Probably my best find of this year! The coffee is amazing drip and espresso. If your a coffee conosour or the only thing you know about coffee is it's hot, you will walk out loving what you got. If you need a bite to eat get the rooster, unless your vegan... Then get a delicious salad or scone! The owners and the workers are always happy and greeting everyone; blue, green and everyone in between! Posititivy is always in the air! Drop in and check it out I'm sure you will fall in love!! If you don't know what to get: Tell them Tyler sent you to try the Breve [breh - vay].

Kansas Coffee Cafe owners/staff are welcoming and genuine. I try to bring all of my favorite humans here, because their menu is solid. I have too many favorites, but make sure you experience the cold brew from their impressive drip tower!

This is my husband and I’s absolute favorite coffee shop! Their espresso drinks are the best!! I am lactose intolerant so I have to order beverages made with almond, coconut, or soy milk but they are amazing here!! The baristas are also so good at creating latte art in the drinks, even with the nut milks!! We love everyone there, and al of the sandwiches are delicious too!! :)

There are so many coffee shops in Kansas but you won't find another like this. If you want the honest truth, I've never been to a place where I've felt more welcomed, not even my parents for holiday. The coffee is amazing and if you want something new try the blackberry pistachio, no burnt taste, no creepy vibes. There are down sides though, you'll never make the news like you would in a Starbucks, sad day no 15 seconds of fame. The food here is amazing, their menu doesn't just include the typical salad that you can eat in one bite or the chicken salad sandwich that vaguely reminds you of an airport restroom. They have truly hand crafted meals that will fill you up and leave you not regretting the fact that you didn't just have another peanut butter and jelly. And fear not if it's noon and you've missed breakfast for the last 5 years you can still get the Rooster breakfast sandwich (2 eggs, cheddar, and bacon on a toasted croissant, 0 regrets). I mean eggs to bbq prepared the way you like it, you won't find any corporate douchery here. Now I've seen people complain that the grill wasn't open but you have to understand that this is a truly local coffee shop run by a tight nit group of people and on the rare occasion that someone takes a sick day, hey you'll still get the best coffee in town. And last but not least... the baked goods.. oh help me the baked goods. I mean cinnamon toast crunch muffins (BAKED IN HOUSE) and fresh, talk about vices, the torturous part of this is watching them being prepared and iced, ohhh that icing. And the espresso chocolate chip cookies!?!? I mean come on this review might as well be sponsored by the chubby kids of america foundation. They're literally so good that I don't even have the money left to buy hard drugs. I feel like that's a weird way to end a review but... I'm going to anyways, deal with it.

I stopped in on the way to the airport and I was so impressed! The food (BLTE+avocado) and coffee (honey bear) were delicious, but what made my experience were the people. All of the workers were so kind and polite when I was ordering. When I noticed that the avocado was left off my sandwich, the staff was nice enough to give me a free drink, even after I assured them that the mixup was no big deal. If I were local, I’d be here all the time.
