Places like this are far and few in between as neighborhood goes through urbanization and modernization. Along with a handful of eateries in Capitol Hill, Coney Island brings a sense of nostalgia amidst a no-frill hometown feel. Come for a coney dog (or two or three) starting at $2 each and slow down for some good conversation with neighbors and friends.
This place was so good! I was hesitant to try it based on a few reviews I read but gave it a go anyways. I am so glad we did!! Amazing chili dogs 🌭. They are bright red! I was so confused and almost didn't order DON'T let the color fool you. They are so good! The line can get long but they move it quick! When you get to the counter make sure you know what you want! They like to get things moving. They simply said "how many" when I was up to order. Next time I go I'll make sure to get plenty of pictures!! CASH ONLY!!
I was craving a classic chili cheese coney so I stopped by for lunch. There is plenty of seating which is good because this place gets busy. If you see a line don’t worry it moves fast. I ordered a couple of chili cheese coneys and could not resist so ordered frito pie with cheese as well. I really enjoyed the frito pie and the coneys were delicious. If you in the area for lunch it is well worth the visit.

Whoa. Whoa. This is not upscale by a long shot. It is not for everybody, my review is not so much the place it's about the food. This is the location in the Commerce/Robinson Street area and rent is fairly decent here as you can tell. Now to the food, the food was not bad it's made right in front of you and you get a choice of cheese and onions, whole jalapenos instead of cut jalapenos. You can try the spaghetti with chili, it's a different twist not bad. and prices are fairly decent. On of my favorite lunches.
This is hand down the best chili dogs ive ever had. Ive never been to the "real" Coney Island in New York, but these coney dogs are great!
Ive been going here for years and its the best. Try a coney with cheese and without. Try them with hot sauce. Get some sour cream and onion chips.
Try the chili spaghetti. Or a frito chili pie. Its all delicious.
This small chain of restaurant's have been an Oklahoma staple for decades!
It's just fully loaded chili dogs with signature chili, chopped onions and lots of cheese. The dogs come from a local butcher, I think they still do. I can eat like 4 of them, but shouldn't.. lol
It's cash only and always has been, I doubt they ever change that.
I eat lunch here for less than 8 dollars with a drink. 10 bucks with tip.
You must try the coney , and they have a spaghetti dish that is really pretty good too.
This is my only choice for coneys, I've been coming here since I was a little girl and still to this day. Definitely recommend the coneys, spaghetti, and the frito chili cheese pie!! Super fast service and the atmosphere is like being at your family's for lunch or dinner. My favorite place!
Hotdog Heaven! Been frequenting this haunt for nearly 30 years. Nothing fancy here - no endless options for your dog. Order 'em up with or without mustard, onions, chili or cheese - or throw all caution to the wind and order ya one "all the way."
Atmosphere? Yep, there's plenty of that to go around also. The whole dining experience takes one back to mid-twentieth century Americana when things were simpler and easier to navigate.

These people not only have and make the best hot dogs in OKC they are really really sweet and kind I owe them cause I forgot they only take cash but they still gave me the food six dogs and bag of Doritos so sweet of them I will back asap to repay and tip them well ...thank you guys at Coney Island so much from Aaron
