I grew up eating Grandy's every Sunday and this Grandy's is the only one I know of that's left. I ate there yesterday and it tastes just as delicious as I remembered. I'd honestly forgotten about it but ill definitely be back more often. It's too good.
Breakfast buffet simple but good. They don't put a great quantity of food out on the bar. So you get fresh food as they Replenish often. Overall, a good quick meal for the price.
New Owners/Management. I went there tonight for the $3.59 Super Steak Tuesday&Wednesday. The food was hot and fresh, and the dining room very clean. The owners were in the store, the staff was professional, and the experience couldn't be better! When Grandy's first opened years ago, I was in love. Back then I was a major foody, now I try to watch what I eat, but I have a friend who eats and eats and really doesn't care from where lolol so she gets extra everything and I get coldslaw and veggies. Sad to say Coldslaw was really bad, but okra was good as ever. If you like Coleslaw don't get it there, it's not worth the money or even for free, just don't. I gave the chicken to my Fur Babies, but only a few bits. It's really greasy.

I went to the Grandy's on NW 39th Expwy. They are fantastic! They're busy but take care of each customer with courtesy. I would drive all the way back to NW 39th for dinner.
Love the manager Dawan. He doesn't get enough he is real nice and Genuine Person. Food is always fresh. Love the food. Give him a raise.
They do need help with the dining tables. But there are some available, since there are several tables. Great food, gizzards were PERFECT..

Yes it is now open and no they no longer have the breakfast buffet. Better cinnamon rolls than your local bakery 🧁🥯 they always have good biscuits and gravy, dinner rolls and chicken.
I like Grandy's. Decent home cooking for eating out and the staff is always pretty good on 39th & MacArthur.
This place is like home. Oh and they gave "Kitty the dog" a free chicken strip ^_^
Sloppy food I bought country fried steak with extra gravy instead of utting in a side dish or carry out cup they thrower it all together it looked like slop whe I go home to eat it I was very dissdissipointed do not plan Togo there again I spent 20 dollars on some junk very bad experience hope no one else agoes through have that kind of experience

They offered our dogs a chicken bite.
Our order was filled correctly which I can really appreciate. Too many times at various drive thrus the order isn't filled correctly.
We drove from Piedmont to this Grandy's on NW 39TH and MacArthur. We weren't disappointed.
