The Saturn Grill in Midtown is a sit-down restaurant--tables, waiters, etc. The one thing noticeably lacking from the midtown-Saturn experience is service. My dining partner and I were seated and received our food relatively quickly. After that the waitstaff was inattentive. That is, until we were ASKED TO LEAVE. Shortly after receiving our check, and after being at the restaurant for no more than 40 minutes, the hostess came over to our table, scooted in and sat down right next to me, and said "hey guys, we have a line and are going to need to ask you to leave." I was floored. I have never been treated this way at an eating establishment, least of all a sit-down restaurant. I was convinced that this was an aberration so I called the owner to explain the occurrence. According to him, this was no mistake--it is actually his policy! Not only did he defend this abysmal practice, he suggested that I was too easily offended! I have never experienced this before in my life. If you still believe in service, do yourself a favor and do not eat here. Or else you too may be sent away from the table after giving them your business.
