china river is small restaurant owned by a family. they offer good food that is always hot! every time i come in the son is answering phones and taking orders he's only 11! the daughter is always happy and working hard. i get the sesame chicken and crab rangoon and its the best around the area. don't have much to complain about expect maybe the prices!!
I've lived in Chicago, NYC, NJ, Dallas and Indianapolis and I tend to be pretty picky about Chinese food. For the price and location, this place is one of my OKC go-to's. the pan-fried dumplings are outstanding and I've always had great interactions with the delivery staff. Highly recommend!
I love this place the food was awesum n the atmosphere is laid nack iys a family rez and even better a husband and wife delivery team(americans) they greet u with a smile i order delivery all the time they always get it to u hot n in the right timeframe
They have great takeout! I've eaten there several times, and have been pleased every time! I always go inside to order, and I typically have to wait 5-10 minutes for my food, but that's okay with me because it's always very hot and fresh when I get it. Delicious and at a reasonable price!
Great takeout. We ordered from them for dinner tonight, and it was very good! I ordered the beef chow mai fun, crab rangoon, and egg drop soup. Delivery was within 30 minutes, and everything came really hot. The portions are very generous compared to other Chinese takeout restaurants in the area (instead of 3 or 4 crab rangoon, there were 8+ in an order).
I love this place. Don't listen to all the haters out there. The general tso's chicken is great with rice (standard). Don't get sweet & sour chicken. Also they hav added more tables. They have 4-5 tables and is a great place to eat at. It is family owned and has very nice restrooms.
Know What They're Doing!!!. Last week i ordered from He Rieu and was let down and thought i would never eat Chinese takeout again. This week i thought i give it a try and ordered for China River (funny name lol) but they totally redeemed the Wok for me and would order again. buy only for the "River". thx

Wonderful family owned & operated mom & pop shop. Parents cooking, kids run the front. Loved by local’s! You can taste the love put into every dish that is custom made to order! Chef prepares each sauce from scratch, meat is house marinated and roasted!
I must admit even with the very fine piece of dark hair that was on my general tsos shrimp, this was by far the best I’ve ever had and I’m not over exaggerating either. It was actually spicy like it says and it was fresh and delicious! Like I said the only issue is the hair I took out of my food. Wear hair nets guys, but keep up the delicious work!! (FYI I’m eating this right now) 😂

First time here and we ordered the dinner for 2, absolutely delicious fresh Chinese food,I had given up hope on good food until I found them, flavorful chicken lo mein,pork fried rice,egg roll,crab Rangoon and eggdrop soup.Will be back again for sure.10/10

This is my second time ordering from this place and I’m so compelled to write a review because I’m a Floridian and have been surrounded by Chinese eateries all my life! The Chinese food in Florida is all New York Style and this is the only place in town that brings me back the nostalgia of the New York style feels! I’ve tried almost all Chinese food take outs in the area and this is the only place that serves deliciousness! I finally found the one haha so very happy with the place
I've been going here 7 years, I've seen the kids that study at the table close to the soda fridge grow up as I did,I usually get the House special fried rice and crab Rangoon a strongly recommend this place
I like this place alot,
I perfer the vegetable or shrimp egg rolls.
The wonton soup is great.
I also like the shrimp with broccoli add mushrooms and carrots.
I dont like the spicy chicken or spicy shrimp.
Or the fried shrimp the fried shrimp is ok not bad..
just not great lols.

I haven't tryed much else cuz im mostly vegetarian or only eat pork and shrimp. So i have a limited pallete either way

excellent food. i was very hungry when i ordered the food. i am satiated. steamed dumplings were magnificent. my girlfriend liked the food as well.
Only order by phone, food is always good and hot. I have never been there but always good service.
