Church's Texas Chicken

Today's Churches Texas Chicken restaurants don't cook chicken as good as the old school Church's Chicken restaurants. The size of the chicken pieces have gotten smaller as Church's, Popeye and KFC have all gone to service chicken thighs that appear to be cut in half. Sometimes the chicken legs they serve are really no bigger than the legs of a drummette.

This particular Church's Chicken franchise has branded it self as being consistent with it's fresh juicy marinated fried chicken, crispy fries The biscuits were a golden soft and fluffy. The dine in lobby was clean also the young man that had taken my order provided me with awesome service. The ladies bathroom door needs some attention, no soap dispenser was in the restroom. I recommend this franchise to anyone that really want to experience really delicious chicken any time of the day!

I should start by saying that the best part of my experience there was the employees, every single one of them were fantastic, specially the lady that took my order (all of them Hispanic, shout out to them) they were busy but they handled it like pros, they knew how to handle the stressful situations that I saw they went through. Now the food, it was really good, I can believe I haven’t eat there before, every thing was great the bisque freaking delicious and the coleslaw was out of this world, they must be a small batches made there cause it didn’t taste like preserves or previously frozen. I will totally comeback at least to say hello to those people. I wish I took more pictures but I was no expecting to rate this place.

Me & my son-n-law came here to get the 20 piece leg & thigh dinner with 3 large sides & 2 half gallon drinks!!! The food was AWESOME!!!!!💯😋👍🏼 There was enough food for my daughter & son-in-law to eat and to have leftovers for the next day, plus enough food for me to take with me to California to deliver this load of fences that I have to deliver to Lowe's Distribution Center!! So I'm good for Saturday & Sunday dinner!!!👍🏼👍🏼 Plus the manager was SOOOOOOOO nice to help me & my son-in-law with jumping off his car due to his battery (is probably going bad). She did not hesitate to come outside & help us!!! That was VERY GOOD & I AM SO SO SO SO GRATEFUL to her for helping us!!!! When I come back to Oklahoma City to visit my children & grandbaby, I DO KNOW WHERE TO GET MY FRIED CHICKEN FROM!!!!!!😉

Your staff member on the drive through at about 4 on 4/29/2022 is AMAZING! With the wind making it so hard to hear, she patiently restated choices repeatedly and did so with a smile in her voice. You are a treasure, ma'am! You're smiling voice made a possibly frustrating situation a breeze! Of course the food was great! It's Church's!!

Under new management. THANK GOD! Looks like the place has cleaned up. Very nice young ladies at the drive through window. The food was good as well. BTW shame-shame on the guy in front of me who ordered and then cancelled and confused the employee into giving him back $20.00 more than what he had coming. Karma is a b@+Ch and I bet you've got some headed your way. As my mother always said, "the devil's gonna get you for that."

So very good! And a great price! Not happy that an employee behind the counter wasn't wearing a mask. All other employees were wearing marks, yet no one said anything to this gentleman about putting a mask on. Im vaccinated and I was starving, so I didn't say anything. But looks like the manager would've said something. I was there at approximately 4:30 pm on March the 16th. But, again the food was delicious.
