It's been a long time since I been to a Grandy's. This one did not disappoint. Went with a few family members, and everything we had was absolutely great. I had chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes, okra, and a roll. My sister said I should have gotten the tenders.
It's been a good long time since visit, year to a year plus. But I just have to mention, best cinnamon rolls you can find anywhere. Tasty rolls, juicy good tasting fried chicken, and lots of tea. Southern veggies, also gizzard and livers. Or lizards and givers. Wish they they were still in Tulsa, long gone. Ps. Best maintained location in the area .
Good solid 4 of 5. I started working at Grandy's in Lewisville Texas when I was a kid in high school and how it has changed. My son and I stopped by for a quick bite, it was even nearing closing as it was about 930pm and I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh, piping hot and served by a very friendly cashier who talked to my son about everything from the fast food industry challenges to the warm fall weather. Exceptional okra, great chicken fried chicken --chicken fried steak was not exactly what it once was but was still hot and tasty. A little disappointed with the potatoes and gravy that needed a touch of seasoning but over all a very passable and filling meal. After a hard day, it was great to let them do the cooking and the dishes and we headed home to call it a day. Thanks for making that long day easier.
Behold the newly renovated Grandy's. Sherry was super nice too, unfortunately they discontinued the breakfast buffet, but the food continues to be just as good. They have by far the best biscuits and gravy I've ever tasted, double for under 6 bucks. The place looks nothing like it used to, very beautiful inside and outside.
I had to wait 30 mins for my large order but it was understandable. Food was fresh delicious and order was accurate well worth the wait but the customer service given by Queentaziah was phenomenal ! Great customer service is rare. I highly recommend stopping through.
Workers were great. Chicken fried chicken was good. Hot, juicy, and tender. The white gravy was good. The French fries and okra were good. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant and kind of bland. Oh, and delicious cinnamon rolls.
It's been years since I've been to Grandy's, and the last one I went to was all run down and the food was old. Well this wiped all those memories away and reminded me of the days I used to eat at a Grandy's all the time. I was greeted immediately and given time to go over the menu. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans with the white gravy. It came up steaming hot and fresh as could be! This is about a 20 min drive out of my way but it's worth it! I'll be back! Thinking about moving to Moore! 😆
This is the best Grandys I’ve ever been too. The food was excellent and crispy mmm!
The best part was the people here, they take pride on their food service. This is my new pit stop after football games on Saturdays.
