Can't beat it. Food is fresh, portions are large, and the price is right. They only take cash, so be ready for that. Our large family loves Taiwan, and we always have leftovers, which is a plus!
Finally decided to give Taiwan a try... ordered the Orange Chicken - comes with fried rice and an egg roll - $6.00
I'm on the fence... was good for the price, yes quantities were good/big. Tummy now kinda feels weird, I'm assuming because it was heavy on the sweet orange sauce. Egg roll was meh, no real flavor, decent crispy shell, but it's not very big (comparatively)
For 8.30pm The place was packed with folks inside and in drive thru, surprised I'm the first to review since 2015...
I'd go back, can't really think cheap Chinese is gonna be fabulous...
but yeah it's not going to be my go-to cheap spot near the state fair area....that prolly still goes to LaiLai Chinese over off 44th....
Further of a drive, didn't want to drive there tonight, but I'm thinking it's worth the extra drive. If your nesr by, do what I did and give them a whirl... I may have just not picked the gem on the menu.
-cheers!
The BEST Pepper Steak! Yum!
IT is down the street from my house so I eat there quite often. The good things about it is that it is very cheap for a meal, between 4-7 dollars. The bad part about it is that it is not vegan friendly. There is only one meal on the menu that could be classified as vegan. Overall it is great if you have no dietary restrictions.
Good Food, Great Price!. I have been eating here since I was a child. The eggrolls use to be alot better but they are still good. I love the Broccoli Beef and Seseame chicken. My kids love the rice and you get ALOT in a small for just $1.50, they can eat on it for 2 days. One everyday combo feeds me and my girlfriend and we still have some leftover. Alot of good food for a great price.. I highly recommend.

Really delicious sweet & sour pork.
Rice is perfect.
The BEST Egg Roll Ever!!
BIG Portions. You haven't lived till you eat this great food!
Best Fried Rice. Used to get pork fried rice but switched to family special combo. Reminds me of the old House of Chan. Fine bits of green onion and egg interspersed with pork, chicken and shrimp. Little charred bits that only come from a screaming hot wok add that little extra hint of flavor. As a side the portion is enough for four. Egg rolls are good. Make sure to get the house made chili sauce. Shrimp Egg Foo Young that's apparently blended so one gets more of a homogenous green tinted (from green onion) egg patty with shrimp then mixed in before cooking comes with a unique sweetish brown sauce. Schezwan pork is a tad sweet but packs the heat. Can sub boneless garlic fried chicken for the regular sweet and sour fried chicken on the combo meal. Been going here since before the fire and it's as good as ever. Big Bang for the buck.
22 years later and still going strong. I don't know how long they have been in business in this converted Tastee Freeze, but I can tell you I have been eating here for over 20 years. I have met both of the last two owners and they are exceptional cooks. When this place nearly burned to the ground I literally cried. This is not pretty plated food or tables with flowers or tableclothes (they barely have any tables at all). This is simply really, really good food well prepared and in large portion sizes. The spicy items are the best and most authentic things on the menu. The eggrolls are the thicker wrapped variety (versus the more paper style thin rolls). The soups are very good and the hot and sour is fantastic. Again, not pretty but pretty dang good.
Great egg rolls.. I love their egg rolls with a bowl of egg drop soup. I no longer live in the area but always stop by if I get a chance. Been eating there about 15 years and it is always the same.

Excellent. I love this place. It's the best fast chinese food place ever!!!
This place is always on point with flavor, price, and portions!
Literally anything you order from here will be amazing!
They have the BEST house fried rice (pictured) in town!
This always stretches to 2-3 meals for me.
PLEASE go visit this amazing little place and give them your business! Also bring cash since they are cash only. Very important
Great fried rice and great price can almost feed two for 6 or 7 bucks love going here but closed on Tuesdays I think not sure exactly what the schedule is but it's been closed when I've been by on tuesdays
Just found my new spot. They were fast, the food was good, cheap priced and abundant. I got the Happy Family. It was like 3 pounds of food without the rice.
One of my comfort food can be found here... (extra spicy) Beef Loh Mein! The owner do not skimp on beef and brocolli... satisfying every bite.
Want something sweet? Their Honey Chicken goes well with fried rice. Their set comes with or without an egg roll.
You can call ahead of time and use the drive-through to pick up your order. Do note that they take only cash payment, whether you dine-in or order to-go.
Given the quality of the food as well as the generous portions mentioned by others, this is arguably the best Chinese joint in the city without being made to dine in at a sitdown establishment. The only note of caution is to lead with an idea of what you’re wanting, because the ladies who run the place mean business when it comes to keeping the line moving. I wouldn’t say they were particularly rude as someone else pointed out, though, I can only speak to my own experience.
Food is great and always freshly cooked. Never over 5 minute wait.
The food is good, but the service was horrible. Staff has bad customer service. Half of my order was delicious the other half was horrible.
Been going to this place for almost 30 years and the food has been amazing the whole time. I believe it's the best in okc hands down and I've tried several. For the amount of food you get it seems the price should be more than what it is. Great food at a good price!
Taiwan is a great place for some classic cuisine. Also priced very well for the times we live in currently.
This is my absolute FAVORITE chinese food!! Have not had anything from there that I didnt like thus far. Been going for years. Their fried rice (pictured) is so good. I am not a fan of the veggie medley some have in their rice. But! It does come in it if you order like chicken fried rice though. Their portions are big and their combos are worth every bit of this $6.25 (E46- Honey Chkn with fried rice and eggroll). 😁 Try it out. It will not disappoint.
