Their burgers are really good. We also really like the pizza. My husband did not care for the nachos, they seem to be over microwaved Cheese sauce with probably be better because the shredded cheese was hard. I did not care for the chicken fried steak it was soggy and the sweet potato wedges were not good. I really like the chicken alfredo but it was a bit holder priced at $18. It would be a good idea to drop it at least $2 And include a slice of garlic toast that would make it seem like a better deal.

Delicious food! Bomb burger, swanky masculine decor, cozy atmosphere, good beer selection and full bar

My wife and I ate here on a Sunday night.  That seems to be a good time to come if you want plenty of attention.  There was almost no one there when we arrived.  Our server was attentive and friendly.

We started off with the fried pickles.  They were delicious -- lightly battered with plenty of dill flavor in them.  We ordered the jalapeno ranch dressing to go with it, and that was also a good choice.

For entrees, we tried burgers (what else?).  I ordered the Italian burger.  It comes with pepperoni, salami, pepperoncinis, mustard, and pickles.  All the toppings worked well together.  However, the pepperoncinis dominated the taste of the burger for some of the bites.

When you order a burger, you can order the original size (8 oz.) or the small size (4 oz.).  We decided on the small size.  It was just as good but more manageable.  The only thing I did not like about it was that the burger was served on a slider style bun, so there was about a 1 cm difference between the bun and the burger (burger larger than the bun).  I prefer my burgers and buns to match in size.

At the suggestion of our server, we tried the peach cobbler for dessert.  This was an excellent choice.  It was enough for 4 people, but we put a good dent in it.  The cobbler was served in a large bowl with two scoops of vanilla ice cream and a generous dusting of cinnamon on top.  The peaches were al dente.  Our favorite part of it was the chunks of pie crust underneath the stewed peaches.  They were delicious!

With some good looking steaks and chicken on the menu, we may return.

Went to Nics Lounge for my birthday last night and was not disappointed. I love a good burger and I also love the original Nics. But I decided to order the pan grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and old fashioned to drink. The chicken was perfectly tender and well seasoned and even though the mashed potatoes looked riced not mashed they were delicious and hot. My old fashioned was good and had lots of cherries in it which I like but may not be for everyone. My husband got the A1 burger and it was so good, just like you would expect from Nics. The fries were not like the original which was a little disappointing but they were good and well seasoned. Also got fired pickles as an appetizer and they were really good and the ranch tasted house made. Our waitress did an excellent job and was very attentive. If you had a bad experience here when they first opened I suggest giving it another chance. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Pros: You can get a Nic's burger at night without having to wait in line. The atmosphere is really nice and it's a great date night destination. The location is nice as well.

Cons: The onion rings and fries are not the same and because Nic is not the only cook sometimes the burgers aren't what you want. The cost of the alcohol drinks. The parking also sucks.

My husband and I have ate at Nic's for over 10+ years. The last time we ate at this location we split a burger and asked that it be well done. We were told it would be an extra 20mins. That's fine but after waiting, it was medium. We sent it back. This is not an issue we've ever had at the original location and this has been an issue for us each time we've eaten here.

After eating we noticed it was a line out the door so we decided to go down to the lounge and grab drinks. A cocktail was $10. That would normally be fine, but with The Garage right across the street I can't justify drinking here for twice as much.

If you like Nic's Diner you will love this place, it's the same food in a 5 star setting. The place is crazy cool. The main floor sits 77 and the lower level lounge and event center seats 88. They take credit cards and have private rooms for small meetings and events. The lower level is amazing and can be rented for a large event.

The burger came out well done when I ordered it medium rare. The second burger came out medium well and had onions on it when I originally asked for no onions. The ranch is a very strong jalapeño ranch. The onion rings are good. The JoJo's burger is good. I like original Nic's better, but I'll wait awhile and give this one another chance.

If you like the original Nic's, then you'll surely love his new place. Many more menu items including Nic's original burger and believe me when I say its 98% as good as the original and that ain't bad. The decor is very nice and the wait staff is some of the best I've seen. Give it a try and see for yourself.

After an afternoon at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, this was a nice end of the day dinner. Enjoyed the Italian burger with salami, peperoncini, and pepper jack cheese. If you like flavor with a touch of heat this would be a good choice. Add the sweet potato fries for an extra $2 is a great match and they were not skimpy with the fries. At 5:30 it was not real busy and very comfortable for conversation. If you are downtown would recommend you check them out.

I got the original with onion rings. The burger is big but very tender and manageable. There's also a smaller version of the original that works better for smaller hands/stomachs. We got the cobbler as dessert and was very surprised at how big it was. Felt like it was the whole pie 🤣 Overall the dining experience was excellent. I've been here multiple times and each time was great! I love the downstairs lounge. The service is always top notch. A+++++ to the staff and management

Meal we had at nicks was really really good of the four of us three got hamburgers and they were cooked perfectly. The french fries were awesome and the side salad with raspberry vinaigrette was great too. One got shrimp with asparagus side and she said it was season well and she enjoyed it, we got some fried pickles and the deviled eggs and both were good. The burgers were so big. It was hard to get your mouth around them. The staff were so friendly, so polite, so nice better than I’ve experienced in many of place. We were shown downstairs to sit for dinner, and it was cozy and comfortable. I do not recommend sitting in the line of the air vent because it got quite cold on the air turned on, but when approached the staff made the problem go away. I cannot see anything wrong with this place the prices are reasonable service was excellent lighting was good noise level was good. Cleanliness was good, the timing of the food could’ve been better. It was a little slow and there weren’t that many tables but when the meal came out perfectly, you know they took their time to get it right.

Nothing like the original place or even the downtown joint like when it first opened. I'll still always say Nic makes the best burger on Earth. Need to spend some time downtown though..

Really nice little restaurant the hearted downtown they were open late we got there after a Thunder game probably 30 minutes before closing but they were very accommodating and took care of me and my partner and made sure that we had drinks and everything was fresh 10 out of 10 would recommend.

The hospitality was incredible! We came in, ordered drinks and while looking at the menu were told they had just served the last of their chicken. Since my daughter doesn't eat red meat and there was nothing else on the menu she could eat we had to leave but our server was wonderful about it. We were in from out of town so she gave us recommendations for other restaurants and didn't even charge us for our drinks. We left her a tip anyway. Next time I'm in Oklahoma City I will definitely be going back! We were really impressed by how well we were treated even though we weren't able to dine there. They should be proud of their people!

Food was great along with a fabulous Cherry Temple. Gives you plenty of food for what you pay for. Staff was kind and offered a deal in exchange for the mistake he made. Would recommend and come back later if it was closer to home.

We got the 9oz original burgers. Fries and onion rings. Plus a side of ranch. The burger was huge and absolutely delicious. Onion rings and fries dipped in the ranch was fabulous. Got the order to go and everything was done correctly. Highly recommend and will be back soon!

I've been coming to this location since he opened it a few years ago and it's a nice place to relax in, as well as grab some good food. Nothing will ever top the original location and it's taste, but Nic definitely put his stamp on this place and the expectation of what he wants served, so you're still getting that Nic style with your burger. The staff has always been friendly, tables are clean and you don't wait forever for your food, so these are a few reasons I continue to eat here. Price wise, it's a little more than the original place, but you're in that Midtown area, so it's understandable. If you've never been here, try it.....it's worth it.
