If you love Latin Cuisine this place is a winner. I came with a couple of my friends and we absolutely loved it. The drinks are delicious, the food is delicious and we had excellent service. The bathroom was so cute, all things pink. Definitely make a reservation as they get busy fairly quick.
Not joking, the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Everything was balanced and fresh, nothing was overly rich and the flavours worked so well together. Definitely my favorite by far was the shrimp and grits. The grits were done perfect - great texture and depth in the cheesy flavour. The shrimp was a little charred and had just the right amount of acidity. There wasn’t one thing on any of the dishes I felt like didn’t make it better. This place makes intentional works of art. Amazing! Wish I lived here so I could try everything.
Food is always fantastic! Our waiter was also amazing, I can’t remember his name now but Jessie at the host stand told us it was only his 3rd shift. Regardless, he helped make it a memorable and wonderful night out. I’m not sure if this is a new change but all of the cocktail drinks are named after Taylor Swift songs. I wasn’t too hungry so we split the entree and our waiter brought them out on separate plates for us which was very nice.
Had dinner reservations for two on Friday night and was seated immediately. We had an amazing server who knew the menu well and gave us great recommendations. Started with a southwest egg roll that pleasantly surprised me with its mix of traditional flavors, sweetness, and flakey roll. The entrees we had brought unique textures and combinations that was unexpected. The drinks were spot on. The Mexican chocolate cake was very rich and went well with my end of meal latte. Great experience, great atmosphere, great food, great service.
💯 Frida is my favorite restaurant in Oklahoma City. Their menu is always perfection. The seasonal drinks and dishes are expertly curated—they never miss!
🍷 The folks behind the bar make some of the best drinks in town and are experts at pairing just the right wine with your chosen entreé.
🍴The service at Frida is flawless. I’m always impressed with the staff and their professionalism. They are truly experts at their craft.
😋 It’s almost impossible to choose just one or two dishes to recommend, everything they serve is amazing! Check out Frida next time you’re near the Paseo Arts District in Oklahoma City.
For someone who loves Latin cuisine and also the Paseo Arts District, I had never sat down to a Frida Southwest meal. I have been to the small bar The Daley many times. Frida Southwest is everything people claimed it would be. The service is amazing, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was gorgeous and inviting. Even on a busy day of Brunch the staff kept up and got everything perfect. I got the stacked enchiladas and was pleasantly surprised at the flavor. The black beans have a great taste and the crispy tortillas edges made for a fun mixture of textures. My Girlfriend got the Frida Breakfast which is a lot of food and we had to take some to go. The Cinnamon Roll is a must! It is huge and fluffy and sweet! My first experience at Frida will not be the last. Enjoy!
My spouse and I are here for an anniversary dinner and it was a great experience. We made a reservation on a weekday and while it may not have been necessary I’m very glad we did.
I love how light and bright it is in here. The modern furnishings fit perfectly in the atmosphere as well. Our server was very attentive, too.
Everything we had here was delicious: short rib egg rolls as the April special was absolutely delicious. My spouse’s filet was cooked well and compound butter was so delicious. I liked the flavors and toppings of my Southwest Caesar salad. We also received complimentary cornbread with a delicious salted butter. Very good and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
What a fun brunch spot! The food is amazing, the presentation is beautiful, the vibe is great, and the service was top notch. Just make your reservations and go… and plan for leftovers!
Fantastic restaurant.
Greeted as soon as we walked in the door, we noticed the great spacious atmosphere and wrap around windows overlooking the Paseo District.
Kevin was our server and they were amazing. Very attentive, friendly, offered suggestions and congratulated us on our anniversary!
Our drinks were the OMG Becky (very fall flavored) and the I Like Fig Butts (smooth Bourbon). We loved them both.
The appetizer was the April special: Short Rib Egg-rolls. Yum!
Main dishes were the Stacked Chicken Enchiladas and the Creek stone Short-rib. No knives needed. They were cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth.
We typically don’t get dessert, but decided to get the , Dessert “Caviar” and they let us try the Mexican Hot Chocolate Cheesecake for our special day. Both were fabulous.
Highly recommend, you should definitely come here!
Welcoming atmosphere and very friendly staff. Bartender made an awesome chocolate coffee tequila martini.
We ordered the SW Spring rolls and Burrata for appetizers - both were amazing. I favored the spring rolls - nice SW flavors wrapped in a crispy wrapper.
Entrees: Santa Fe Frenched Chicken with Aged Potato Cake and Crispy Brussel Sprouts - amazing flavors and the chicken was so juicy
Wild Isle Salmon with Lobster Risotto and Broccolini - spit on with flavors and the salmon was cooked perfectly
Dessert: Lemon Cloud Pie - dropped from heaven,'. Great graham cracker crust and the filling tasted like a fluffy lemon cheese cake
It was my birthday so I was surprised by David, our fantastic waiter, with a piece of the Mexican Hot Chocolate Cheesecake. The Hazelnut crunch was fantastic
Definitely would go again!
