GARGANTUAN SANDWICHES!. Massive tortas -- rich and greasy and authentic!
I had the smoked turkey, although I had strongly considered the lengua (tongue). My partner had the asada.
Lots of rich mayonnaise and avocado on each sandwich.
Go expecting to find sandwiches roughly the size of small houses, and most in the $6.00 to $8.00 range. (Trust me -- two folks could easily split a sandwich here and be happy.)
Now, I won't lie -- the men's restroom COULD have been cleaner. That said, the food was so good that I was willing to overlook it.
We'll definitely return.
Aguas frescas are the best, small location but also friendly service, amazing food.
I've been here twice now and both times was truly a delicious experience. On my first visit, I had a Milanesa torta. For those who don't know what a torta, it's basically a Mexican sandwich with beans, avocado, lettuce, may and meat on a toasted bread.
The tortas here are the size of your head. The sandwiches were served hot and my milanesa was very tender and easy to chew. There was no way to finish it all.
On my second visit, my Mom got the Cubano (which should be called the kitchen sink). I opted for steak asada taco and two gorditas - pork and bean and cheese.
The meats were tender and quite flavorful. They make the masa for the gorditas in house, and it's a perfect mix of corn and not overly doughy. My mom very much enjoyed her sandwich. We will be back.
My sister in law recommended this place some time ago and finally made it. Conveniently located in what it looked like little Mexico part of OKC. Delicious! I had the torta de minaleza and the wife had the gorditas. The best torta I’ve had in some time. Sides are encourage but not needed as the tortas is sufficient for two people. Look no further than this location for authentic Mexican food in OKC
Great portions, the tortas are great but the fries could be better fried and the salsa needs more flavor and kick. Otherwise, very delicious!
The food was amazing no long wait love the theme and employees were nice

Stopped here because of Google reviews and I am so glad I did. The food here is so delicious I was impressed.
They’ve got a sign that says we don’t serve fast food, we serve fresh food. That should tell you all you need to know! This is the best place to get a hot & fresh tasty torta in all of Oklahoma & their bread is something special. Get the perrona or acapulqueña, you won’t be disappointed!
My husband had been wanting to go try this place and we finally made it. Definitely going back.
Really good food, I’m definitely going back to try some more on their menu.
Great food!!! Definitely will eat here again.
