I ate here for the first time over the past weekend (11-16-23) and it was excellent. If you are a fan of flour tortillas, then you must try this place. I had a special order burrito and it came out just as I requested and it was also very good.

Great hidden gem in Shawnee. Place is big inside so seating is usually easy. Food is more authentic than tex Mex. Relish is amazing! Shrimp salad is one of my favorite dishes. I’ve been all around the states and overseas, I’ve ate at several Mexican restaurants in El Paso next to the border where Juarez is at. Ya El Paso had great meals but, eating here just feels more homey, as if the dishes were prepared right there and then.
Every time we go to Abuelita Rosa's it is just a little better. The salsa was especially good today! Really enjoy eating there, the staff are super nice. And I think they make improvements to the building often. Only thing I could ask for is a covered patio area to eat & drink in 😉
