I eat here as often as I can lol. No really. I do, they have the best ribs ever! The smoked turkey is to die for. The brisket is so good you don’t need sauce!! And don’t even get me started on the jacks potatoes!!!!
Really good food staff and owners are amazing definitely recommend

Enjoyed. Tender, well smoked brisket.
LOVED the garlic slaw -- couldn't seem to get enough of the stuff.
Broccoli salad was also tasty.
Clean, well lighted, venue.
Friendly service, too.
Nice.
Good quality BBQ. I got the Tuesday special plate: 2 ribs and one side. I got the baked beans and added their coleslaw. Overall, I found that I agree with the other reviewers on Urbanspoon about this place. It's not bad, but it's not out-of-this-world BBQ either. You are served cafeteria style and seat yourself. The server took my ribs out of the warmer before my eyes and also toasted and buttered my Texas toast right in front of me. I could have used toast that was a little more brown, but that's just me. It was warm enough to absorb the butter, so that's plenty good.
The baked beans were nothing special. I am a fan of Swadley's spicy baked beans, so I added a jalapeno pepper to my baked beans to make them more spicy. The coleslaw is worth getting again. As some other reviewers have said, it has a vinegar-based sauce instead of a creamy sauce. I like this kind of coleslaw better anyway, and I was glad that Jack's BBQ serves it. I didn't taste any garlic in it, but I did find some celery bits, which is a novel addition to coleslaw. The celery adds crunch without introducing a flavor that takes over from the other flavors.
Good barbecue!. Jack's is about the only good barbecue joint left in OKC. You open the door and immediately that good bbq smell hits ya. The ribs are good and tender without being dry. Like all bbq's these days, they could stand a little more smoke and a little more dry rub but they are by far better than those chains like Swadley's, Earl's, Steves, Billy Sim's, and Rudy's. Jack's is just old fashioned bbq. For sides, I like their beans and their coleslaw, which has a tangy German vinegar style dressing instead the usual sugar and mayo. The slaw is may not appeal to everybody so ask for a sample before ordering. The family pack for 4 is great to take home when nobody wants to cook.
Jack's the Mac. Seriously, I tried 'em all. Jack's is by far the best. You know why? If BBQ is excellent WITHOUT sauce, how much better is it going to be with sauce? Also, I'm not one to believe it's only good if it "falls of the bone." That's a fallacy and complete garbage. You bite into that mug and rip the meat off Barbarian style. Is Swadleys great BBQ? Of course it is if you just got paid. But if you're not Daddy Warbucks and you want quite a bang for your buck, hit Jack's up.
Pretty decent BBQ. I like it.
I have been to almost every decent bbq restaurant in okc like swadleys, earls, leos, the ribber, bedlam bbq, billy sims, county line and jacks is hands down the best bbq in oklahoma city
Love this place! My husband and I are big barbecue people and he is so picky. The ribs are juicy, tender, and so good you dont need sauce. However the barbecue sauce is awsome too. Plus they have two kinds spicy, and regular. The people there are so nice. Recommended this place to our entire family.
In an area with mainly fast food this is an absolute oasis... Fantastic ribs at a decent price! Also try the "Fire" sauce, it'll wake you up :-)
Had the BIG MIKE sandwich which is I think a pound of meat or 2 meats and 2 sides. I had sliced brisket and sausage with potato salad and Mike's taters. Great brisket I enjoyed the 3 different sauces.
Jacks makes my lips Smack. Jack's BBQ is definitely a great discovery. It's not much to look at on the outside, but they by far have some of the best ribs in town!!!!! Swadley's and Earl's and Rib Crib quality, without the outrageous price! The meat doesn't slither off the bone after one bite. Slithering meat does not equate with great BBQ. Anyone can over cook meat. The real skill is cooking it to perfection and knowing when it's time to pull it form the pit. The sides could use a little finesse, but that's what ala carte is for, right? Try, it. You'll fall in love.
It's a great hole in the wall BBQ joint. Food is fantastic. The sausage is juicy and full of flavor, the baked beans are thick and delicious, the green beans are buttery and perfect. Staff is amazing. It's been around for a long time and it's obvious.
One of THE best BBQ spots in the 405. Jack's has juicy brisket, great pork ribs, and a German style coleslaw. I'd eat here over a chain bbq any day hands down. Better portions plus they scoop your to go sides separately which I like.
Solid BBQ. Big portions, all fried items are dropped to order. The pork ribs were excellent and the brisket was perfect. They have three levels of sauce that vary from mild to hot which I definitely appreciate. Will be back for sure.
FANTASTIC!!
The girl who helped us was SO friendly. Great customer service! I don't like Cole slaw, but theirs was delicious! The sauce is really good, the Texas toast option was my kind of choice! Also, the fried corn is yummy!! Will recommend and will be back!
Quintessential Ok BBQ restaurant. I've been coming here with my father for several years. Food is wonderful.
I like Jack's BBQ and have been coming here for years. I usually get take out and I've always been pleased with the quality of the food. My wife and I have dined in on occasion and that has been enjoyable as well. Prices have gone up recently, but that's true everywhere else, so I can't fault them for that. Service was good last visit (March 11, 2023) girl behind the counter was very friendly and made the experience pleasant.
Continuity lives here. In addition to the barbecue, Grandma makes homemade Fried Pies. My husband loves them. Great side dishes. Great okra. Their broccoli salad is good too. I always get the pulled pork. It doesn't have a lot of those burnt ends which I hate. I use the pulled pork to make burritos. Mix the pulled pork with some Hernandez green salsa, green chilies, fresh chopped green onion, and maybe a little chopped spinach if you're sneaking it in on the great grandchildren. Mix that in with shredded cheese. Roll all of that up in a tortilla, nuke it, and serve with some salsa. Quick meal and my family loves it
Always great food! I highly recommend that you stop by and try it! Ribs were falling off the bone!
Really good food loved everything I got hit the spot the carrot cake is also wonderful
